There is always an un-official off-the-record special beating organised by the police/guards on duty for you. You will pray for hell instead.

Fela was arrested, beaten and broken by policemen. He never behaved badly nor assaulted anyone. But small marijuana, this one is already feeling like a god.

I had a neighbour whose younger brother was paraded by the police alongside criminals, his offence was "loitering". He was picked up sometime around 11p.m, someone who just arrived Lagos that night from Adamawa state and was walking to his elder brother's house.
