Tbh, I've decided not to bother myself with credit card acquisition again because I've tried applying but I always get rejected. This is my 5th month in UK and 2nd month working full time even my bank rejected. Don't know what to do again really

With each attempt, your score gets a hit and reduces further. It's best to stay away from credit applications for some months to let your score breathe. In the meantime, do other things to increase your score.

I know many people get Cards within few months of arrival. But for most, it might not be the case especially. It's best not to keep trying in the initial months.

Hmmmm have you registered on the UK electoral roll? Do you have direct debit payments to your utility bills running? Must be something you are doing wrong. I was fortunate to have gotten mine approved the same month I got in here. All the best

Please, mine was renewal, I wasnt given any collection date, I was told it will be delivered via royal mine and I can track it but nothing showing via track. Royal mail said the passport haven't gotten to them. I captured last month April 6th. Like how many weeks does it take to get a renewed passport.

I am even shaking I didn't know of collection date.

The collection date was stated on the white confirmation slip given upstairs. It's usually 2 months after capturing but mine got to 3 months.

I don’t know why you say AmericanExpress is easy to get. Seems to be one of the toughest card to get.

No credit card is easy to get ....... Each lender determines criteria for approval ........

Best thing to do before application, ensure you're on the voters list, have some financial history etc etc .......

Before credit application, run a credit card eligibility pre approval test ..........

Indomie diet in the oza room........... 🀣😜

If it's what I am thinking....... If you intend to kill another man's daughter...... Exercise regularly, avoid excessively sweet things, avoid eba, pounded yam, Amala, fufu, rice, lafun etc etc

Don't eat too late........ With all this and more, you must build bungalow on top..... 🀣

If you're diabetic or hypertensive........ Our GP's would happily prescribe you aids like viagra, sildenafil etc etc.......

I've applied to be registered on the electoral roll since April 8th but no response yet, I had to send a mail to my local authority to know the update. I haven't set up my direct debit yet but it will start this month.

You're right. Infact I know a student in my church that has gotten. It's even funnier when I checked on experian and no record was found about me. I'll do as you said by focusing on increasing my score.

... ... This long writeup particularly applies to ENGLAND. To teach in England, a person is required to have a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Qualified Teacher Learning & Skills (QTLS).
The QTS is more prestigious/respected than the QTLS (just like BSc is better respected than HND in Naija). So getting the QTS or QTLS is the pathway into teaching. These are the 5 main routes into teaching.
