I think you're being sentimental here Basco... Take a look at Liverpool's attacking options right now. Salah, Nunez, Gakpo, Diaz and Jota all have one thing in common: versatility... They can play multiple positions up front and they posses good work rate off the ball.. Awoniyi leaving Liverpool was the best for hid career because he wouldn't have gotten much playing time... He might just continue going out on loan.. Simply put, he isn't a Klopp kind of player, and that's understandable because many coaches have certain attributes they require of their players...

U are the one being sentimental if anything. U didn't have Nunez or Gakpo at the time. Taiwo has been playing in all three front positions this season. He has definitely proven he is versatile this season.

When was Taiwo ever a bench warmer for Liverpool? They never gave him a chance so that bench warmer talk is make believe. U had zero strikers and u want me to believe that someone who has proven himself in 2 different leagues won't have gotten a shot on ur team. If that was the case Liverpool would be fighting for the league right now or at least in safe champions league position.
