I think you're being sentimental here Basco... Take a look at Liverpool's attacking options right now. Salah, Nunez, Gakpo, Diaz and Jota all have one thing in common: versatility... They can play multiple positions up front and they posses good work rate off the ball.. Awoniyi leaving Liverpool was the best for hid career because he wouldn't have gotten much playing time... He might just continue going out on loan.. Simply put, he isn't a Klopp kind of player, and that's understandable because many coaches have certain attributes they require of their players...

U are the one being sentimental if anything. U didn't have Nunez or Gakpo at the time. Taiwo has been playing in all three front positions this season. He has definitely proven he is versatile this season.

If I told you would not believe.

And then you would say I'm posturing and mentioning names to get credibility on a faceless forum.

Then some would say LIAR.

So what's the point ❓

You can disbelieve or believe it's your choice.

Here u go with ur I have an insider talk grin

We didn't have Nunez and Gakpo, but er had Mane and Origi....

Are you saying you wished Awoniyi should have stayed at Liverpool and remain a bench warmer perpetual loanee just to prove that he can play for Liverpool or what?

You said Liverpool made a mistake by letting him go. How? Last season we almost won a quadruple! This season we're just going through a rough phase...

When was Taiwo ever a bench warmer for Liverpool? They never gave him a chance so that bench warmer talk is make believe. U had zero strikers and u want me to believe that someone who has proven himself in 2 different leagues won't have gotten a shot on ur team. If that was the case Liverpool would be fighting for the league right now or at least in safe champions league position.

Bro 🤣🤣. First of all, I really admire your passion for anything Nigerian football..it's no wonder you named your YouTube page "Naija bias".
But you tend to overdo it at times..
Awoniyi took part in preseason with Liverpool the season before he joined Union Berlin permanently. Klopp didn't take any interest in him .. How would you have expected him to stay?
Again, what do you mean by Liverpool have zero strikers? Are you trying to pretend like you don't know that Klopp doesn't play with an out and out striker? Last season, Mane was playing as a centre forward.

Liverpool will be fighting for the league if ee had Awoniyi? 🤣🤣 Come on bro...we didn't have him last season but still almost won a quadruple.

Again, I admire all the passion. But Awoniyi didn't have a future at Liverpool.. He wasn't in Klopp's plan. Its as simple as that .. perhaps in the future, we could bring him back, who knows?

That Niger team is really poor. They literally can't make a single complete pass talk more of a shot towards goal whether on or off target. The 7-0 scoreline is actually very flattering to Niger. Should've been much worse.

Can't really blame them... Niger is not as developed as Nigeria at this stage.
I'm not sure any of the Niger players entered our box 18 sef grin grin

The Flying Eagles' first XI of the 2023 WC tournament.

Daniel Bameyi starts at RB obviously ahead of natural RB, Augustine Njoku.

Benjamin Frederick and Abel Ogwuche are the CBs.

Solomon Agbalaka is the LB.

The midfield trio today is expectedly Daniel Daga, Tochukwu Nnadi and Samson Lawal.

Upfront, Salim Fago gets the nod over Emmanuel Umeh in the #9 role.

He will be flanked by Jude Sunday (RW) and Ibrahim Muhammed Beji (LW).

Chijioke Aniagboso keeps his place in goal.

Osimhen Rage on being subbed out

Osimhen fuming seriously as he was being brought off on 68mins for Simeone.

He raged at Spalletti saying: "Why!!!? Why taking me off??!"

He clearly isn't happy coz he wants to extend his goals tally in the Capocannoniere race.

He should stop raging and especially stop raging at the coach. If he gets injured he won't be able to play and score goals...

He shouldn't forget that he's a migrant.. he should just smile like Awoniyi and pretend as if it doesn't bother him.

You once said a similar thing about Osimhen.

komekn:

I said this about 7/8 games ago that Everton will not be relegated.

Looking at the bottom 6 Everton have the best players and the greater quality squad depth.

Nwakali will not get into the youth team even if they allowed him at 24 to play in the U18's.

Giovanni Di Lorenzo is so underrated. No media hypes but he is certainly one of the most tactically sound fullbacks in Serie A and arguably the best RB in Serie A.

A fine goal to cap another fine performance.

I have never said I have an insider, check my past posts.

How do you know that I am not on the INSIDE and don't require an insider.

You are correct similar but not the SAME thing.

Remember that all things in football ⚽ are time limited.

And I qualified my statement with AT THAT TIME and that was 5/6 years ago.

Football ⚽ is not static it has progression and retrogression.

One question for you , has V.O. remained the same over the past 6/7 years ❓

Second question has Nwakali had commensurate progression in comparison with his U17 youth exploits 7/8 years ago ❓❓

At his peak Nwakali couldn't get into the Arsenal youth team. After 3 seasons on the Dutch second tier he found himself in Porto B and unable to claim a regular position. So why do you think he will walk straight into Everton U18 ❓

He has moved to the abyss of the bottom level of the poorly Segunda division and do you think he has improved.❓❓❓

I am being measured and objective not subjective.
