🤣🤣. You should have said all these last season when we challenged for every trophy in sight while scoring plenty of goals too.. This season, we have struggled, but scoring hasn't been a problem, with 100+ goals across all competitions already..
And Nunez isn't playing as a target man ..he has started many games as a left winger this season... Awoniyi switching position with his attacking partners during games is normal in most systems..it doesn't make him versatile enough to actually play a full game stretch in that role. That was my point..

Both Liverpool and Awoniyi benefited from the parting.. Liverpool earned a huge profit from his sale and Awo got to play in a team he is needed...... Its a win-win situation
What is Taiwo position against Chelsea in the first rounds.Did you know that Taiwo sometimes operates from the wings this season but as you said good that he picked Nottingham.

Versatility or not Taiwo is a thorough No 9,playing him in other positions not good for his game.

Chelsea game is only one game... Does he have the attributes of a proper winger? Like pace, dribbling, crossing, technicality?
I don't think so .
Maybe he could have cut it at Liverpool. But the fact is that Klopp didn't take an interest in him ..so it was only right for him to leave

our best ever u20 side
The 89 team was fantabulous!!!!! The damann miracle. Mutiu Adepoju lasted the longest!! They also had Chris Ohenhen who had a fulfilling personal career. Others that flattered to deceive are Osondu, Dimeji Lawal, Nduka Ugbade, Oladuni Oyekale, Baba Abdulahi, Tony Emedofu, Jimoh Balogun, Sam Elijah, late Tunde Charity, Peter Ogaba, Chris Nwosu.

If Man City win the treble, then it means that Julian Alvarez would have won the World Cup, Premier League, F.A cup and the Champions League all in the space of 6 months and he's just 23 years old.

What a player!!! 🔥🔥

My guy went from being undrafted to becoming one of the most important player for the Heat.

I like Jokic, but the Heat have my support to win the chip this year ..

BascoVanVeli:

When Taiwo, Gibbs-White and Johnson played together they always swap positions in game, that was the system. I never said he was an out and out winger, I said he is versatile meaning he can play there if need be. If u go back to the Chelsea game earlier in the season, he was balling on the wings. I have been watching Klopp for years and it is a bold face lie to say Taiwo cannot fit his system.

At the end of the day Liverpool sold Taiwo and bought Darwin Nunez as their target man. Taiwo has had less appearances this season, less minutes, taken way less shots and still has the same amount of goals. When u add his discipline, intelligence and hard working mentality it is easy for me to say that Liverpool would be much better today if Taiwo were in the building.

The adaptability, skill and technicality required to alternate and switch positions in forward play at Liverpool FC.

NO disrespect, are very different from the skill sets required for Nottingham Forest.

In this regard as much as I like Awoniyi, he doesn't meet those requirements where Liverpool are concerned.

Agree 100% better to start blooding them in now hopefully by the time WC qualifiers and the 2025 AFCON come along they should be ready. Hopefully Tijani from Salzburg would have begun to manifest his potential.

Nobody was hyping him.
There was a time he was topping the list of players with the highest number of interceptions and tackles in the Belgian Jupiler pro league.
Yes, his name was no 1 on the list.

Orban is not tall enough to play CF..

Victor Boniface, Osimhen, Awoniyi, Terem Moffi, Umar Sadiq or Paul Onuachu should be the CF

Gift Orban should play LF

Victor Boniface or Umar Sadiq should play CF due to Osimhen offside wahala.

Terem Moffi should play RF

Osimhen or Awoniyi should play SS behind CF so that when crosses come in both Boniface and Osimhen will be in the box to head the ball.

Yusuf is playing in Belgium..

he cannot be favored over an indigene or indigenes with potential talents no matter how good he is.

It has nothing to do with hype. Belgium have to groom their future players and talents...

The Reason some Nigerians don’t see Messi as the goat is because of sentiments and what happened at the 2005 world youth championship

But We ain’t ready for this conversation

You must be tall enough to win majority of headers from crosses that are not accurate.

S.E has tall forward players so let them take advantage of it.
