I have had my eye on this cardify for a few months now as a possible fintech solution to some of my issues. Can someone other than a market rep give us an unbiased review of cardify? Among some of the interesting questions are:

1) Is cardify a scam? What I mean is that what is the probability that after I open an account with them and deposit money today that the company will disappear within a week?

2) How they make money? No doubt that there will be fees with each transaction with cardify, the question is, are these fees manageable?

3) Is cardify licensed by the C.B.N?

I also need answers to these questions

You know you could say the same of the banks too except for the last question. Even the CBN needs to answer the first two questions.

Banks have a very long and well established history. They almost certainly will not disappear tomorrow and their fees, although disturbing should be used as a benchmark for what constitute acceptable fees. Basically, cardify showed up yesterday, and it would be really helpful for some of their more informed customers(not marketers) to help in shedding more light on their credit-worthiness, for the benefit of those of us who look to employ their services in the near future.

If the school have a medium of converting the Pound amount to Dollar, Cause the card is a dollar card, but i have used it for Australian Dollar website before and it worked and its 3D Secured

Same thing with me. The worst app indeed. Mine I lost about 4,900 naira without trace. But I was able to use them successfully to process transactions worth 2million naira but after I lost 4,900 naira without trace I told myself I could have also lost 2million without trace. So I stopped using them.

Let me share my personal experience with Cardify:
-Having lost trust in some of these platforms, then a friend in tech-field told me about cardify as his payment plug, I had my background checks on Cardify to ascertain his claim and I confirmed that it has its operational office in commercial hub of Ibadan, the company is as well registered and operating under the CBN.
I can attest to your doubt that cardify is not a scam, not because it has both Woli Agba and LAteef Adedimeji as its major brand ambassadors, to me their two major ambassadors are brand that has their brands to protect as well.
On how they make money, I believed the CBN must have taken care of that before issuance of operating licence and for bout two years now, cardify has helped solved many problems relating to payments system. The 2FA is of cardify is part of my relief.

Cardify is the worst app. I would advise anyone that wants to get their dollar card to desist from doing such. I got their dollar card way back in 2023 and everything was smooth-sailing; I was able to perform different dollar transactions until it was renewed earlier this year without my consent. Since then, it has been utter disappointment. I am not even able to renew my spotify or netflix subscription with their card. The worst thing with their dollar cards is that they debit you for even attempting to add their card on other platforms. They have the worst customer care I have encountered in the history of customer care. I have lost over 10k because of numerous deductions for declined transactions.
I wouldn't advise my worst enemy to try out their platform in its current state
