Hello !

Please who has tried booking medicals recently?

Just got ITA and Qlife is fully booked till July. IOM has available dates but the booking site seems not to be working. Saying I've booked yet no confirmation.

And their customer care has not been going through.

The last mail I got from vfs was last week wednesday, it stated that my decision envelope has been dispatched to Ghana OC. I was expecting to get another mail indicating that I can pick it up in lagos.
I checked the tracking site today and got this update: "Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office on 2023/05/17 to the Canada Visa Application Centre. Your decision envelope will be returned to you via the courier service offered by the VAC. Collection of decision envelopes in-person at the VAC is not permitted until further notice"
When can I go to vfs lagos for pickup?

Hello everyone.

Concerning the express entry application, I have uploaded all the necessary documents and I’m about to pay.

I want to pay the RPRF but it isn’t in the summary of fees. I might have selected to pay later but I can’t find where to change that payment option.

I intend to pay all fees now to reduce processing delays.

I look forward to your responses. Thank you

Did mine this month. I kept sending emails and calling IOM customer care. If you get on the phone with them, you can explain your situation and they’ll help book an appointment

Hi everyone,

My spouse and I are applying for PR, is there any particular wedding picture (e.g the one showing when we were signing the marriage cert) we have to attach as proof of marriage?

Thanks in anticipation of your response.

Not at all

It's a legal document

I think that's something common in the UK thread. Even at that it's not necessary

Where you apply from doesn't matter except maybe in terms of which PCCs are needed and where you do your medicals. Page 1 may be a good guide regardless of location.....if you read through the thread, you'll see comments from others who also applied from the UK.

You really don't need a consultant once you are able to diligently read the requirements which are simple and clearly stated.

POF can be in your currency of choice, any foreign currency USD GBP CAD would be my advice since Naira loses value over time. These and more are covered on page 1 and the FAQs.

Thank you sonkich for the response. Reading through from the first page, and I commend your efforts in gathering these resources. How can I send you a personal message? Can you share your email or contact details?

Thank you in anticipation

Don't be perturbed by that. A good number of people have receive their PPRs whilst still having "Elligibility not started" showing on their tracker page.

It appears to be the real deal. The last I know of them, they're good at what they do.

However, I do not know how much things may have changed since David Cohen passed away 2 years ago.

Hello everyone, good day. I filled and submitted my application for the EE and I’ve got a score of 475. Been in the pool since mid April, I wanted to ask if I stand a chance of getting an ITA and how long it will likely take. Thank you.
Nobody can predict as the process is a lot more competitive now. Is there a chance that you bump your score up to 481 ?

Comgratulations.

Please I will appreciate if anyone can provide clarifications to my confusion.

My spouse and I are getting ADR to make payments for biometrics when we have clearly done biometrics in the past for previous study and visit visa application within the last 10years.

Our Bio information have also been updated on the PR profile.

Is this a new norm for PR applications??

Please advise anyone.

vizioo:
I wanted to share an update on timelines.

Single applicant.

ITA - Nov 2022
AOR - Jan 4, 2023
Medicals updated - Jan 16
Biometrics linked (from denied student visa application) - Jan 16
RFV - Feb 20

Logged in pretty frequently and signed up for the new application status tracker, but no new updates since Jan 16. The new tracker said eligibility had not started right up until RFV email - it has since been updated to show all components passed.

Noticed a ghost update a day before RFV.

We used a notarized gift deed (multiple transactions) as proof of funds.

He took an online diploma at a Canadian university and used that (along with his Nigerian BSc) as 2 or more degrees. We only intended to get points for 2 or more degrees, but he also got points for Canadian education thanks to a slight change in IRCC regulations due to COVID-19.

Hi guys!

A couple of days ago, I mentioned my request for reconsideration was refused because of insufficient funds after an initial refusal due to not submitting documents(which I actually did submit).

I filled a webform to explain that I have sufficient funds based on the present conversion rate.

I was going through the letters sent me again, this time more closely. Then I saw the reconsideration refusal was due to this - "Proof of settlement funds submission is in incomplete" not actually insufficient funds. I have attached a screenshot below.

Then, I went back to the letter requesting for the documents, and read it again. I have also attached a part of it below.

I interpreted it to mean bank statement for the past one month. I thought the last part that mentions 6 months is for some kind of current account or investment account. I operate and have my funds in a regular savings account. So, I submitted bank statement for just a month.

And it seems that's where the "incomplete" stems from.

It should have been 6 months bank statement right?

If anyone has any advice as to what step I may take beyond this point, please I'd really appreciate.

Thank you.
I'm guessing you received an ADR requesting for a six month bank statement/ bank letter that was issued by the bank in the past month ?
