As much as I'm not a fan of rushing into marriage, there are a number of factors that require one to try and fasttrack things. Life expectancy in Nigeria is 52 years, meaning that by statistics, the longer it takes to get married the lesser the time one can stay married, enjoy children and grand children, beat wealth, beat inflation etc.

Dating for long does mean the marriage will last. My dad and mum only knew themselves for few days before they got married at a young age. They have being together for over 40 years without any headache.

there was headache but they used panadol extra instead of cutting off the head.but you see this present generation, they would rather cut off the head instead of using panadol extra.lol

I don’t believe age should determine when you get married ,but sometimes in a long run age does matter, I got married at 28 and my wife was 23 and that was after 1 year of friendship turn bestie that later dated for 4 years before marriage ... tie the knot since 2014 and we still goin strong ,thinking of doing it again once we clock 10years

one dt is a management staff banker just this past Saturday married a broke guy in my compound who drives drives a marketing bus for a wine marketing firm..his pay is 70k ,he smokes weeds like food, chases women up and down..not good looking physically, but ready to marry her..

guess what..? sh is 39.. and probably rejected alot of better guyz at her younger age..only to settle for a far far less guy..

What else does a 30 year-old has to offer me...you started menstruating at 12 or 13 years and I will now marry you at 30. When I look at female doctors and I laugh, they think I'm smiling at them,they don't know I'm actually laughing at them. Most of them have hormonal issues, they will still want to marry late and the number of guys they can get married to is limited. Seriously, sometimes I pity them but most days, I'm just laughing at them!!!

They do it with such a complete mad rush as if people get paid for having children in Nigeria!

I got married at 30 based on target I set for myself as a young man. Seven years on, it's working out fine and the best decision ever.

You can NEVER find the right partner. Once you're old/prepared enough to marry, just look for any available demon and marry and carry your cross afterwards.

There's no right partner anywhere. In every successful marriage, one partner must have sacrificed his/her rights and become an id!ot for things to work

If you're waiting for the quality, right, partners, you'll never marry.

The only solution is to marry your first love especially if you're his/her first love as well. Every relationship after the first love is nothing but transactional relationship
