I was reduced to a common beggar on this website around this time last year by this harrowing and haunting experience.

Unknown to me, "iriri aye kii pani, ogbon nii koni". The day I went to report at the Lagos State Police Command, I made a post about it on the culture section, yet, one of them still manifest.

She then closed for the day. When she resumed the next day, the Manager gave her new Receipt booklet and asked her to rewrite it excluding the name of their victim, Adegoke.

The Receipt booklet is the missing link which she resolved bcoz hitherto the argument was that Adegoke did not lodge in the hotel. But she confirmed that he lodged in the hotel but she was asked to remove his (Adegoke) name from the new Receipt booklet she was asked to rewrite by the Manager.

She didn't know what transpired in the night. She became suspicious when she discovered that Adegoke, who paid for 4 nights was not in his room and she was asked to remove his name from the new Receipt booklet. But she couldn't ask anyone.

This is how she narrated her own account of what she knows.

I think the judgement is fair bcoz she didn't know anything about it.

You cannot compare her account with those other 2 boys that moved the deceased Adegoke from the room, clean the room of any traces, moved him to the bush in the dead of the night, dug the burial ground, buried him, and came back to the hotel as if nothing happens and never informed the Police.

Cooperating with forensic officials and the police with intelligence and info that will help in nailing the main kingpin always comes with a negotiated benefit. If this benefit is too much or not for her, I can't say. Cos if she took part in the killing and disposing off of the body,then she should get stiffer punishment, but if not, she can be given some landing that's better than others.

May be without her info, the Prince himself wouldn't have been nailed.

When in Nigeria and must lodge in any hotel... I must ensure the bed is 100℅ moveable.

When I'm ready to sleep and no longer need the hotel services, I move the bed to the entrance door post to block it from behind completely.

Look at how they have not been able to sentence Chidinma, the lady that killed that Lekki Billionaire, Michael Usifo Ataga.

If she was a guy, the case would have been done and dusted long ago.

May the door of the job to perdition and destruction never be opened unto us. She seems to be a poor, innocent receptionist at the hotel, and like most receptionist saw all the coming ins and outs on a daily basis, hence her ability to give all the information requisite for nailing these criminals, and without which the prosecution case will be very weak.

Kudos to the judge on this matter, and to all Nigerian women of substance. Inspite of having the ball to hand down death sentences to these criminals, I sincerely doubt that the governor, a man, has the ball to sign off the death setence so these murderers can face the hangman in a timely fashion. Justice delayed is justice denied.

You'll have to bring the other cases to court and proof she was involved in previous killings. Otherwise, and as far as this case is concerned, she's not been found guilty.

She didn't conspire to kill anyone. She probably did what she did under pressure from her employer. She's also a victim in this unfortunate situation.
The judgement is appropriate. The death sentence is also appropriate for the killers.
I hope this will encourage the police to prosecute more ritual killers. A good day for the rule of law, a good day for Nigerians.

I think parole or pardon is not given to criminals convicted like this by a court. More so, there is nothing to give consideration to that kind of idea in the concluded case.

Your Biases are unfounded in Law...Difficult Cases require Trade in for Convictions and Conclusion of such Cases... The Proviso in Law is Clear on Material Evidence in any Criminal Proceedings...,Pls. Where All Compelling Evidences for Convictions have been Contracted will make d Case less Burdensome to Conclude,Pls.

. She was used for a lewd purpose. It was when she realised the hotelier and his cohort had ulterior motive that she spoke up . It was through her that they knew lodger book has been tampreed with by showing the original copy of. the list of those that she checked in including Adegoke. She knew nothing about the plan to kill Timothy but first denied he lodged in the hotel.. The judgement for alteration of evidence is in order. She will go home in November.

So your grudge with her is the salary she was earning. If you had been following the case since inception, and from the testimonies and evidences she provided the court, you would know that she was supposed to be the fall guy of anything went wrong. She was framed, although, she made some illegal moves when it dawned on her that she was going to be used as scape goat. I am happy for her because she will walk free soon. I think she has 4 months to go.

The question we should be asking is how many times has she been doing this?
