So, he should tell us the law that says a limited liability company cannot fix the price of the product it’s selling. I’m waiting.

NNPC increased its own prices not market prices. I'm surprised at Falana.

NNPC are working with APC and Dangote to Milk this Country and Nigerians Dry! : embarassed cry

How can Dangote launch his Refinery and within 2,3 Days, Tinubu announces Removal of subsidy?😒

It will NEVER be well with APC and even Dangote! 😕

Dangote's refinery has not started production and will not start till year end. Around the same time, ongoing repairs to the PH refinery will be completed.

Before then many more petrol importers will be operating, as the govt has invited bidders for licenses.

Try to seek information.

How is it illegal Nnpc is now a plc. The FG is owing them 2.4 trillion for subsidies and has not paid them since. They have the right to do what they did na. Last last a good leader will direct them to remove it in phases maybe 25% every year

What Dollarization of the Nigerian economy is going on? Are we in Venezuela or even Argentina? The man should behave himself

While it is illegal to increase pump prices across the nation pre-subsidy removal era, diplomacy application is also very important because they also have the capacity to sterve the nation of the product hording it for post subsidy era to sell at a higher profit margin. Which ever way, the gov created this predicament by carelessly announcing the removal way too early hence petroleum marketer are capitalizing on the ineptitude and turning it to gainful adventure. It's just business

Am surprised, u said too early, when ex president only make provisions till ending of June and is not that the ex president has paid the fees for March, April, may and the so called June to nnpc. So u expect the New president to add to the debt running to trillions naira while so called oil marketers are benefitting more than avg Nigerians on the main issue.

It is not illegal in any way
If anything is illegal is is selling at a loss . and allowing that debt in the first place

Guy, death isn't the only way out.
You are the same person who commented that you were dying yesterday, and I responded to your comment.

Please stay positive in your mind. Don't lose hope..
Death (Suicide or doing something irrational) isn't the way out.
Reach out to friends, family, colleagues, mates in neighborhood, church members or mosque members or even a stranger.... Don't stay in isolation and be hopeless.... You won't die!
You will survive and live to do well.

Don't wish for death, please ...

Sir, this is not about law. It’s about rebuilding this country and rewriting the wrongs. With honor sir, should we continue the fuel subsidy?

All elder statemen in Nigeria should come together on this issue. It’s not about Tinubu or APC. It’s about our country and what’s pulling us back.

Rebuilding the country with illegality? tongue

Even when NNPC and Major marketers were selling 185 in Lagos, independent oil marketers prices were much higher between 205-220. Those against the subsidy removal will have to PIA to contend with.

Removal of subsidy when our refineries are not working and we import the product. Let Jagaban wait till August when dangote's refinery will be working fully then we can talk about removing it. Can't you see that prices of everything has skyrocketed. Our people are suffering. I'm confident government will revert it. We want PBT to succeed and he will succeed but this removal now I don't support it

Don't mind them
You claim you removed subsidy while nnpc is still sole importer of petrol
How did they even arrive at 537 self?
One litre of petrol in US is about $1
Crude is 79 per barrel while budget is 75 per barrel. This means Nigeria is making extra $4m per day on crude.
Exchange rate is 630
So how did they arrive at 537

Exactly my thought, I was thinking it'll be around 300 to 400

This will definitely not be easy. FG needs to lock up. No going back on subsidy removal.

What difference will working refineries make to price? How exactly will that make it cheaper?
Dangote's refinery cost $20billion last year we spent $10billion on subsidy.
Government cannot manage refineries that is why they are not working. So that is a false condition.
One thing many of you forget is Dangote refinery is in a Free Trade Zone

He is not obliged to sell his product to Nigeria or at a cheaper rate

The real issue is our citizens need to get rid of a sense of entitlement.

He (Falana) surely has limitations in this field. NNPC didn't set price neither is the fg government going to set price. It is now a deregulated sector. Hence prices will be independently determined by individual marketers just like any other commodity. NNPC is also a marketer here. They only fixed prices for their own stations or outlets nationwide

There is certainly more to this. Various stake holders must meet to jaw-jaw on the issue of subsidy. Enough of taking the people for a ride.

Not even FG can fix price of PMS now as it has been deregulated. NNPC like any other marketer only fixed prices for their own stations across the country. So people should try understand first. Falana is 120% wrong on this. NNPC didn't fix price for others

The issue of removal is not emotional or sentimental. It’s pure mathematics. We don’t have 1.4billion a year it takes to fund the thing if we want other sectors to be paid their salaries. Too much debt . God forbid we default on debt servicing . China or Russia will take your seaport as collateral

Let me tell you something
If God is supplying your needs
You are leaving well,

You can afford to eat anything you like n not what is available
You dey eat throwey !

Please ignore this subsidy bruhaha

Let the masses who played politics of religion and tribe face the hit.

I can never blame any politician for being corrupt here in Nigeria the masses are the most wicked and corrupt ones who hide under the umbrella of religion and tribe just to put the entire country into a total mess .

The worst is majority of them are still depending on family members , friends n neighbors for financial assistance.

May God bless those with Good intentions for Nigeria and disgrace those whose intention is evil.

Are you minding the man ? Everything to him must be law. The country is bleeding while other African countries like Benin, Chad, Cameroon, Togo etc...are milking us dry through our nonsense subsidy.
When are we going to get it right in this country for once ?
