Na you wey collect loan and no wan repay dey harrass me, now I employ some workable tactics devoid of physical violence to get my money, you say na harassment. Shame no even catch that olodo wey post that stuff for Twitter. Business is business hoo haa!

When you could have easily forwarded their issue to CBN to do the needful.

Just curious, are people forced to take loans from these apps? If a person knows they are not saints (I did not know when sainthood became a criteria to a run business), isn't it wise to steer clear from them?

When they take loans, do they not have a plan in place to pay back?

If they had a plan which fell through, did they engage the loan companies?

These loan apps are not new; everyone knows their modulus operandi; you know the interest rates, payment cycle and what they would do if you don't pay.

You claim they are not saints, yet go ahead download their app, give them approval to contact your contacts if you don't pay, collect the loan, refuse to pay back and cry wolf when they decide to act in their usual manner.

You fault a businessman/woman who is already losing money for each day you refuse to pay up for employing a very generic method like 'embarrassment' to get his/her money, and you term it harassment. I saw this tweet on Twitter,where one boyegajohn02 was seeking for justice over the death of one Ifeanyi,who committed suicide after constant harassment of his contacts from a loan app which goes by the name flypay on playstore.

Nigerians should stop patronizing this loan apps ,and this loan apps need to be regulated.

I even tried reaching the numbers,they are not picking & the ones that picked will cut the call on me on learning about the development.

Loan companies need to regulated.
Loan companies are becoming a pandemic,and until something is done,more of situations like this will keep occuring.

What's your idea of the loan being regulated?
I hope you don't think, albeit wrongly, that regulation will require/mandate them to ignore defaulters?
Nigerians naturally have a very bad habit of attempting to avoid paying their debts, and i think those loan companies are their perfect fit.
If you happen to borrow from them, make appropriate plans to pay them back.
