Different churches have different doctrines which they practice. Doctrines dont necessarily have to be direct commandments from the bible; they could just be cultural practices adopted by a group of worshippers; e.g. some churches choosing to wear white flowing garments every sunday.

The logic is simple, if you dont feel comfortable doing that, there's thousands of other churches who dont practice the doctrine which you find uncomfortable.

Did you ever ask your parents why they did not pierce your ears. I as a person believe that if it was needful, God would have make the holes for it like he did for the mouth (for food and to talk), for the nose (to breathe and smell), for the anus (to pass waste) and the private parts for procreation. Why are will busy drilling, panel-beating, and boring holes that are not necessary on our sisters and daughters.

The church is a business and businesses have their own rules and doctrines which their owner imposes on all those it does business with. In this case, OP did not meet up with the businesses private standard -- its rules and doctrines--- and as such was sent out. Those private rules and doctrines have absolutely nothing to do with Jesus Christ given that Jesus Christ never asked anyman to set up private businesses using His name.

Understand that a lot of worship centers have not fully comprehended the gospel they claim to preach. It may be difficult to truly learn Christ in these places, especially when they have not gotten the basic understanding of eternal salvation. You may have to keep searching, but I guarantee you there are many Christocentric churches out there and more emerging.
