Nnpcl are still selling old stock but the price changes to help them restock..

Did they not receive money from fg to subsidize the old stock, why selling the old stock at new rate when you have received money to subsidize the product.

That's making double profit

Has government issued licenses to new importers of fuel already because if they don't it will create more hardship.
The market forces being referred to are few individuals who will not want a level playground or like government to allow new importers to operate because they want to enjoy monopoly and thereby not allowing the principle of demand and supply to work.

Tell your state government to build refinery for you, they have no excuse, you can use Dangote as a good example.

Price will be determined by the seller? So who prepared the template for prices across the countey that's currently in use?

NNPCL (now a company) prepared it for its outlets nationwide.

Most people won't hear.

They want the government to give them fuel at 40 naira per liter while the government pays the balance at IMF HQ and in Beijing.

Ah well.

I see nothing wrong in that since that's the only way the poor benefits from the government...no road, no employment, no electricity, no infrastructure...

What else does the poor enjoy in nigeria

That will be a great idea but getting forex for the importation may not be easy
Besides, Mama may not be ready for the dirty shenanigans of the animals at CBN, DPR etc.

With these "5 things to know", I now totally accept that the Nigerian government is not a serious entity.
The number 5 on the list is quite funny. The same government that have been cheating her citizens since 2015, would suddenly ensure that her citizens are not cheated. Who do us this thing?
Subsidy is gone!
Inflation is come!
Corruption remains!

Better arrangement. People like A. A. Rano should help drive the greedy marketters to bring theirs down considerably.

The likes of Rano , Young Alhaji ...who smuggle PMS out of Nigeria via northern bother are reasons Dangote Refinery will want to sell at normal rate to Nigerians ... They would be deceiving you with cheap price cos they knw where they are getting back their money , they are sabotaging the govt efforts and economy... Nigeria is 95 percent dependent on fuel , as such increasong the price would cause severe hardship for the citizens... So bad , may God help our leaders tommake the right choice .

People way get motor and okada e go knock tire prepare for bad fuel and adulterated fuel to roll into the market the cheaper the less the quality lol.

If it's confirmed that the reason why a car knocked engine was cause of adulterated fuel he or she bought, I think the fuel station and sellers will be liable to criminality and that can put them into serious trouble of jail terms.

So relax, these too will be handled.

That’s life !! Legally cheated economics
magoo10:
Although the NNPCL is still selling old stock, the corporation has explained that it needed to sell at the new rate to be able to restock

this is normal in business but with the ordinary man and population in mind they should retain old price or a little above the old price .
the ordinary man is just being used to fund the oil marketers business.

5. Government authorities would, however, be on alert to ensure that citizens are not cheated.
They are keeping blind eyes to NEPA cheating is. They will do the same to fuel
