I have the same problem since April 29th. Mails have been sent with "URGENT" as subject just as webforms have been raised. Maybe we need to form "April 29th Association" for them to take us serious.

It's a government agency. A letter from my office is all I needed and my payslip. No statement was submitted by me or my agency

He should apply and filled all his information correctly, full name and age.
Trust me, his UCI will pop up and his biometric validity will appear on his portal

It’s possible to convert to close work permit but it’s not easy. You’ve to get a job with LMIA, your employer must the ready to sponsor you, that’s d hard aspect.

It's much more easier to convert visit visa to student visa inside canada than work permit...Go to any DLI complete a prerequisite course which is around 2500CAD.. then apply for study permit ... Application will be granted... But you gho pay school fees oo

Thank you for the information, I really appreciate it. I guess getting or converting will be much easier inside Canada than from Nigeria as regards application and the proof of funds

Yes canada has a shortage of tradesmen like a Welder. You should apply as a skilled worker. If you get accepted go back to school and get your red seal. Red seal means you're qualified to work in canada, USA, or some places in Europe. Nobody acknowledges or respects nigerian qualifications here which makes sense.

He didn't need UCI number to apply. What You need because of misappropriation the the form and doc he used

Go to add application to your account at the bottom of that page. You can use your surname, UCI, application number and location to re-add your application. Just like what you would have done to add a paper application to your online profile. It will definitely work!

My question is what could have caused this to have happened?

I don't have the letter anymore. This is not a recent issue; it happened in 2016.

I mentioned her past UK refusal in the application but forgot to mention the US refusal.

I wrote a letter to correct this error.

Please how long does it take for request of biometrics on the new portal, I applied for my 1year and 5month son on the 3rd of may but, I got a confirmation of submission the next day, but yet to get biometric letter..

How long does it take??
