The political NLC didn't go on strike during the CBN-imposed cash scarcity in the country because they thought the draconian policy would favour Peter Obi even when Nigerians were suffering and denied access to their hard-earned monies. Now that President Tinubu has taken office, Joe Ajaero is pursuing IPOB agenda of destabilizing Nigeria because their candidate lost the election. Nigerians won't participate in that political strike.

Pls I can't understand.
Does NLC want federal government to continue paying fuel subsidy to petroleum marketers?

Labour Party sorry NLC want to start protest for Obi's loss on Wednesday.

It has nothing to do with subsidy.

Tinubu's divide and rule is not going to work.

Peaceful protests is the right of the masses and Tinubu will have to ensure petrol is sold at subsidized rates till June ending while he makes palliatives available to Nigerian workers.

Nigerian workers deserves an increase in salaries/wages not

Fuel price must go back to normal rate till June ending as signed by mr Failure a.k.a Buhari in the budget.
Subsidy must not be removed at all.The proceeds of d withdrawal wud be relooted

I am solidly behind this, suffering Nigerians are solidly behind NLC.

Can you imagine the rubbish ? Some people can't even afford two meals a day, this useless Tinubu government is coming to make matters worst. Roads are scanty because people can't afford transport fare to go about their business activities.
You have a point, the suffering would be something else, haven't heard about break-in at my hood for a very long time but he heard one earlier hours of today. They cart away with foodstuff, it would to the shop owners beefing security thereby spending more which would translate to higher cost of food.

Tinubu have to remove igbos from some key positions cos they will sabotage his government, where was this man during cashless policy?

He even supported cashless policy cos to him he believed that will make obi his fellow Igbo man win but now this guy is talking about protest for a week old government but didn’t say anything with d cashless policy that killed many people

I like how reno finished the guy on twitter, Tinubu has to b wary of the igbos

To those who intend to quote me, ask yourself how will it b different if it was peter obi that did it?
I guess the only problem here is that it was done by tinubu that u love to hate right?

This is not Obi and Tinubu
This is a matter of national interest
Minimum wage cant be 30k and fuel price will be 1k per litre
Mind U, when fuel price goes up in Nigeria, every other thing increases.
How do u expect those on minimum wage to survive.
You people are just deliberately wicked

Who's Ajaero to say FG should revert to old price?

The strike would fail on Wednesday and NLC shall be factionalized into Regions.

When did this happen? I know Buhari banned the importation of those small small generators due to their effect as pollutants, but i never heard when he banned generator imports to improve electricty. Can you share any evidence to substantiate your claim?

That was the reason they gave you abi? Is it only the small generators that cause pollution?
Before the ban, they were already accusing generator importers as people sabotaging power so don't make it look like we are kids.

Story story
thisisit:
WHAT GOODLUCK & OKONJO IWEALA SAW 11YEARS (2012) AGO....TINUBU, BUHARI & THEIR APC IS JUST SEEING IT IN 2023...

THIS IS:
- A CLASSICAL CASE OF VISIONLESS LEADERSHIP.
- AN UNCONSCIOUSLY INCOMPETENT LEADERSHIP.
- A REINFORCEMENT OF BUHARI'S HATRED FOR NIGERIANS WHO ARE NOT AS EASY TO RULE AS COWS.

THIS IS POWER FOR THE SAKE OF POWER.. NOT FOR THE SAKE OF THE NIGERIAN PEOPLE..

INSTEAD OF PRIORITIZING SECURITY BY ENGAGING BANDITS & TERRORISTS... HE CHOSE TO HIT THE GROUND RUNNING... BACKWARD!

NLC is making sense. What BAT mobilized crowd against will stand against his government too. They didn't care to listen to GEJ that period just because of their selfish ambition.

But how does banning only small gens and allowing the bigger ones disincentivize the generator importers from supposedly sabotaging our electricity? If anything doesnt that imply more sales of the bigger gens?

As far as im concerned we have no reason to doubt the official reason. And if there was a hidden motive it certainly wasnt to improve electricity and they never said so.
