Why take a loan without a proper plan of paying back? Nigerians are very unique people, they'll beg you for a loan and then start playing the victim when it's time to pay back.

The fault I see in this loan apps is why they continue to give out loans. To desperate people when they know that these people may not have the means to pay back, you didn’t sign collateral with them check if they have good credit record or even employed, I thought this would been the standard but no, just download the app and register, within few minutes you have money in your account, some people go think say na saara (gift) they don’t mind to borrow 1m because they no go ever pay back if you like report am to cbn, or use police or any means

There are people who purposely buy different cards to borrow from loan apps, some borrow and pay back few times just to boost their limit, once they hit certain amount they can borrow, like 50-100k, they will borrow it and “disappear “

Nigerians take loans with the intention of not paying, your friend killed himself not the loan apps.

Should the loan companies just leave defaulters alone ? is that the alternative, you're blaming the loan agent but there's no solution on what happens to the loaned money.

Go register your loan company to the appropriate bodies and see if defaulters won't pay the loan they took.
Harassing people and invading their privacy is against the rule governing lending companies in Nigeria,and that's why the federal government is clamping down on those criminals.
There are rules guiding legals loan,but criminals hiding under the guise of loan apps wants to cheat the system by bypassing every protocols that govern legal loan companies,with their criminal interest rate and their criminal loan period.

Thank you ma for the timely advice.. I would've waited another hundred years to stop this job.. I planned to use this loan app proceeds to send my 17 children to the university.. but I'll accept your advice, coming from a good person like you and instead learn plumbing and sockaway digging instead.
