Not everybody can cope with the madness in Lagos...to even think Lagos is satisfying to live in alone is another form of mental illness. Truth be told you only enjoy Lagos very early in the morning and late at night,any thing aside this struggle,well except if you work from home.

I am living in Abuja, so I can talk about the Pack and Pay in AMAC. We have six Area Councils in FCT Abuja, one of them is Abuja Municipal Area Council where the Park and Pay law is instituted.

For those who are saying President Bola Ahmed Tinubu introduced the ticketing of Parking in AMAC, I am sad to tell you that the AMAC Chairman is neither APC Member not Tinubu Follower.

The AMAC Chairman who is collecting the Park and Pay revenue is PDP Member.

These multiple means of extorting monies from Abuja residents.

My issue with this park and pay when it was operated last time was that the staff were thugs who aare deliberately difficult and only interested in making u pay fine of 10k instead of paying for the time difference if you park even 2mins beyond 1hr.
And also they deliberately avoid being around when u come to park your car and setting u up to park and leave without getting ticket so they can make u pay fine.
It is a money making machine for some people in govt.

Many government controlled parking lots in Lagos are semi automated and always manned, so you can collect your ticket before parking and pay to the cashier based on time spent on your way out.
They should do the same in FCT.
