SalamRushdie: “The case that was filed in Abuja by residents of Abuja was just dismissed this morning by the Court for lack of jurisdiction and locus standi, the cost of N20m was awarded against the lawyer, Chucks Nwachukwu. Additionally, the Court directed that case file and all processes filed should be transmitted to the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee for appropriate disciplinary actions against the lawyer. I have always advocated that lawyers that are responsible for this frivolous and unethical actions need to face serious sanctions. It’s ridiculous to the noble profession for such cases to get to court in the first place. To what end? Just ruin your legal career over applauds? The court added that no step should be taken on this matter by the Applicants until the cost awarded is fully paid. 😂😂 live update from Court” https://twitter.com/StFreakingKezy/status/1666016647973355523?s=20 20 Likes 1 Share |

The case was dismissed because it was supposed to be presented at the PEPT.The court did not rule on the substance of the case rather on just jurisdiction. 20 Likes 3 Shares |

SalamRushdie: The lawyer will have to face disciplinary action in addition to the N20m fine. It will get worse if he appeals. I’m glad our Judges are now standing their ground and dealing with some of these clowns called lawyers. 25 Likes 3 Shares |

ryloy:see useless headline, the guy case was dismissed because of lack of juridiction, the guy wasnt part of the candidate that contested the presidential election so the judge is telling that the guy that he doesnt have the right to bring such case to court in the first place. So Stop misleading people with your nonsense headline. Those candidate that have the right to challenge the 25% in court are already doing so in the election tribunal. 10 Likes |
