Another half tank
50k on dashboard 3k offline

Closed early today, I would have easily added minimum 10k to my gross.
I got Lekki Phase 2 with 8k estimate from Ojodu as I was driving into my area. But my mind was set for home already.

So I am done showing all these. 3 days and 3 similar results concurrently. In science that matter is headed to be called a fact, if it is spiritual realm, then d matter has been established.

I feel for our Bosses driving Muscle and other big engine cars though. Today I met a guy who drives a Highlander on rentals and delivers 45k weekly. I shouted, "how will u meet up in this new fuel price?" and he said, he will work his way around it. That's the power of a positive mindset.
You guys can save ur fuel on going soft on ur pedals and avoid bad roads and areas with corner corner road because U will require to accelerate frequently.

Also, While I feel for drivers in Caly, IB, Owerri, Ilorin etc. Drivers in Abuja have no reason to complain; u have landmass, and u have demand. I think your greatest undoing is overspeeding, and dead driving. Cut down on these and u will see profit after u deduct fuel money.

May God continue to bless our hussle. Cheers

The key to easing the commission hassle is make sure you clear all bonuses available. Try it, and thank me later

Indrive don't give everyone bonus like Uber and bolt.

I feel you will obviously make something off all apps, it's just a matter of what works for you. The truth is you can't use mainland to compare island in this hustle.

Time is money. A 14 min trip less than 2 km 2800.
But they'll prefer 15km for 3000.

You don't know nothing

cheesy

14mins with less than 2km trip for 2800?

Same 2km radius wey bolt go give us trip to go pick?

You're mistaken, show me that trip details that is 2km distance and gives you 2800
Let me help you get the accurate km through Google map...

Nobody is saying you can't make 50k gross on this apps, my concern is, can you be sincere with how much fuel you used in getting this figures coz the way you're saying, it looks like it becomes more lucrative than before the fuel hike

Roxbury to Westend is not less than 5km...but go on. grin

Except you use one-way from Oando Ikota to The place restaurant and join service lane...going the right way is above 2km.

Oh that's the trip he talks about, I'm pretty sure many people will accept that offer as well if there isn't traffic from the U turn after VGC

And that's far more than 2km, map say 6.5km.

I'd ended the trip shortly after the drama started, it was 2400. She paid 7k.
The policemen were trying to get me to leave, but I was not comfortable leaving her alone with them. 3 men at that time, if na station Dem carry her go I won't have waited but they made no attempt to do that. Especially with her occupation and how she was dressed, they could have funny ideas.
Raising the money to bail herself was another issue, that was what really prolonged the matter. After every,
As we were leaving, Ọlọpa say I try for her o, he's impressed, keep it up, that she should hold me tight o, that he's been on this beat for 5 years and I'm the first Uber driver that didn't abandon *Coughs, Cheerful, Cough* his rider. I say hold me where, I'm unavailable mbok.
I sha delivered her safely to Neil from Tinder.

I don't entirely agree, my car is a 5 cylinder 2.4l engine, most Camrys on duty are 4 cylinders. When riders ask me about fuel efficiency using a Volvo for the job, I point at the Camry.
I'm working on driving more efficiently, trying out things. Between Sunday and Yesterday my average per 100km has dropped from 14.8 on Sunday to 13.6 on Monday and 13.2 yesterday.
I noticed that idling while waiting for a rider to come out also hits those figures, that has to reduce, going forward.

Your friend dey lie to you make you no ask am for money. I have said it before that a young graduate who got into First bank in 2019 makes more than 500k monthly. Go and verify. And before you tell me she does not work with first bank, banks pay around the sane amount across grades. The structure may be different but na roughly the same amount. Another thing for you to verify.

Audit companies dey pay graduate trainees between 250-300k no experience but your friend with masters and 10 year experience is collecting 350k. Tell her to her face that kanuisagoat said she is a terrible liar.

Making 1.5m gross a month is possible but you never buy motor enter road. Are you Conner44? Na so una go use mouth dey call money anyhow. Ask the man you quoted why he does not drive everyday to gross the 1.5m.

I've said it countless times here, I'll still say it now, Do what works for you. Our realities, orientations and aspirations/expectations are different. So what I may abide someone else may forbid. Also because we have different realities truth becomes relative to perspective.

Nobody can say he's not spending more to buy fuel but even though it's still early days, I can also state that one is fairly guaranteed to make more than before.
Bottom line for me is that whatever happens,
My aspiration is to take home double what I spent on fuel or worst case scenario take home 20k after deducting fuel money. That's 20k nobody is dashing me. What that means is, if I can maintain that pace, I'll be earning give or take 500k a month. Not bad.

January last year, my bolt inspection expired, I no send. I used Uber exclusively till December. Pearl on the other hand can die on that bolt Hill. December last year, I say make I enter that period with backup in case of incasity, I got bolt back, I hardly used it, now I don't even have the app on my phone.
Cheerful told me about Rida and InDrive, I registered Rida no InDrive but that's his beautiful bride and it's working for him.
I think uber is great, pearl thinks his own, cheerful too but I won't knock any of them because my reality with those apps are different.

Do what works for you, that's the moral of my story

Very correct sir..I was listening to Nig info on radio today and the anchor, Mr Sheriff was asking what the people needs from govt to cushion the effect of this subsidy removal..A woman called and said if govt can give her one big bag of rice, a big bag of beans and a bag of garri, she'll be very okay..At first, Sheriff was trying to convince her that she needs MORE but she was adamant..I was seriously laughing while driving to work...On a second thought and after a deeper reflection, she was right and the man that says she needed more was absolutely right, in their own way..Your write up seems to resonate with my thought! You see, our realities are diff, our NEEDS and WANTS will always be diff...While some decided to drive to solve generational prob, others drive to fulfill basic needs..Your reality is someone's dream and vice versa..I may decide to sit in an air condition office and do some brain tasking work to get 2k per day but I won't leave it and go and dig a borehole for 2,500 per day..One is good for me, the other might be good for you...You might be seeing the extra 500 naira and be thinking of all the prob you can solve with it, I might be looking at you as a lunatic, not because I cant dig a borehole but because I can't do it for less than 20k!Those who decided to park, survey and those who feels the future of the biz is not bright are not fools and those that think this is the time to catch out, well might be okay.
But one thing is not right, the insult, curse, using obscene language against people you don't know, whom you may never see, is absurd..Pls, let's end it, it drives normal people away from here, leaving only lunatic...Don't be the last man standing in a psychiatric ward!

Update. So I bought fuel at new price for the first time today. My 010 corolla half tank to full at 13k. Petrocham sold theirs 485.
As a part time driver based on the trips I've carried these past days before getting to the half tank, I can say I will survive this as long as I watch my driving. Less use of AC. Don't use bolt except on 1.7 surge and above. Cherry pick rides on other apps.

Can't say for those on full time.
Peace

So your bone of contention now is no longer how much a driver can make in a day today, it has now turned into how much they can make in a month? undecided

Anyways as hardworking drivers have said . . . keep calculating, your moment of clarity is just around the corner cheesy
