Governor Chukwuma Soludo has reaffirmed his resolve to encourage industrialization in Anambra State by providing an enabling environment for businesses to thrive in the state.

The Governor gave the assurance at Awkuzu, Oyi local government area, while commissioning an indigenous steel plant, Milton Steel Manufacturing Company Limited.

The Governor who assured to create a conducive environment for industrialization said the first step is provision of power supply which already in the works to provide 24hour supply in the state.

While assuring to remain focused in the business of providing good governance to ndi Anambra, Governor Soludo maintained that he remains the Chief marketing Officer of everything "Made in Anambra" adding that the best way to create jobs is to promote local manufacturing.

He promised to continue doing what he can as a government to create enabling environment for industrialization to help achieve industrialized and tech driven economy.

He commended the founders for the bold step assured his support to help the industry grow.

One of the Directors of the Company and Member-Elect Representing Oyi Constituency at the state House of Assembly, Mr Innocent Ojike in his address said that their interest is to create jobs, wealth and grow the economy of the state.

He thanked Governor Soludo for his efforts in repositioning the state for the better and promised their support.

The Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr Ernest Ezeajughi, Commissioner for Industry, Mr Christian Udechukwu, other government functionaries attended the event.

The commissioning of the complex and unveiling of the plaque led to the climax of the event.

Are you sure this is not steel warehouse for imported steel that will be sold? Actually looks like an empty hall with dust and no equipment

Now power generation distribution and transmission is now solely a state affair.


States with industrial capacity like Abia, Anambra, Lagos have no business having epileptic power supply.




Do this, and multitudes of industrial coys in your states can create more wealth and employment.

Agu Awka sub station at least their power last up to 18hrs everyday, same substation supply power to Anambra Airport, International convention centre Awka, Agu Awka industrial layout and Agulu lake hotel

Oga Ansmbara state has a rich deposit of iron ore this is not todsys news it's been long.
The ajaokuta was supposed to be sitted at onitsha but una bad belle and hatred of the igbos made you guys took it to Kogi and today how far? If you are in doubt go to a place call Oba you will see the meterlugical training institute located their that was meant to be the original position for the it on and still complex proposed by the then Russians but latter Ukrainians but Obj/ Shagari govt said no.
