The role of the Traditional Institution is one very key area that requires a complete reform to ensure security.

In the Nigeria Constitution, there were no real responsibilities assigned to the Traditional Rulers. This is the time to reform it.

No, it's because... do you ever ask yourself how they became traditional rulers?? Because of atrocities and jubjugation of others perpetrated by their ancestors, including murders! No one elected them. You may be hailing someone whose ancestors killed, dehumanized, or enslaved your forefathers!

The Oba of the great Benin Kingdom can’t be summoned to a meeting in Abuja.
If you want to discuss with him you book appointment & visit the Benin Kingdom Royal Palace … reminds me of one Late Chief Edward Nnaji from Anambra state in the 80s and 90s. even military leaders couldn’t summon him they visit his palace for meetings & consultations.

Oba of Benin will never be among those traditional rulers who leave their palace any how. This why the Benin kingdom remains the most respected kingdom in the world.

Yaradua did not ban consultations. Yaradua was sick and unprepared for Presidency. He never aspired to be a President and never had any blueprint. 70% of the campaign was done by Obasanjo.

What was his achievement? Humanity, he returned back those who were laid off from civil service during Obj's implementation of Civil service reform. Another achievement is that he worked against OBJ's hardwork legacies and OBJ's men. Lastly, the Refineries which OBJ sold to Dangote Consortium to develop Nigeria economy, he reversed it and wasted billions of dollars to repair them without any success.

Yaradua was governor of Katsina while Tinubu was governor of Lagos, Obasanjo himself knows there is a difference between the two.
