The 12k fuel is for what type of car ? I use biggy.
How is the road to that place and what rout is best to follow ?

Big daddy will still do d trip with about the same fuel. The main road is very perfect, but when u reach where u will branch I don't know the state of the roads there.

Use berger express or Epe depending on which side of Lagos you are moving from

How do one get to all these stupid riders that book double trips. One did it to me last night, I was so pained that I placed curse on both her and her families out of character. I just couldn't control my anger to the point of rushing down to pick up if I can find her.

Got a request 10 mins and somewhat tot it was going to be the last trip for the day. I don't call on indrive, but leave messages, so they don't deduct. As I zoom off to pick up, 8 mins away, as I was approachin her, I place call to prep her.

Me : God your request, I am almost there after greetings.

Rider : Where are you? Wait let me check something

As I was answering her, another voice from the background asked her. Did you order for another ride?

Rider : yes as alternative incase the uber guy did not come on time, but I think he's outside now.

Disconnect call and end trip.

Call and call her she didn't pick, until I shoot her insults. Still on her case and don't think I'll let her off anytime soon. The thing pain me grin I have been thro this a lot, but for her to tell me to wait over the phone and be saying it boldy she booked as alternative inside this 488? I must torment her life.

Did anyone noticed that bolt has not been reducing drivers score and acceptance rate for like 4 days ago even if you cancel or decline orders

It's because of the strike action. Some drivers were booking other drivers and canceling on them.

So, Bolt disabled the driver's score nonsense.

And you think this is fair on drivers?! I'm sorry, I really do not want any argument, nor get you angry, cos I understand you guys here do not tolerate criticism. You tend to abuse and bring down someone trying to make a point. So I plead with your conscience not to take it to heart.
I'm just being factual and conscientious. How can one make a whole 51k and you go home with less than half of the money? It's like you're working for the app company and fuel.

I am not faulting him(Zodd). I'm just thinking out loud cos I'm also in this dilemma. Yesterday I used Indrive and Rida to make about 35k with 11k fuel, working from 11am to around 10:30 to 11, with a take home of 23k.

I just feel it would have made more sense if fuel was 5k and commission about 3k, then take home about 43k OR commission about 6k, then take home 40k.

It is well sha

I understand your points. But that's our current reality.
We should take it up on the govt for taking away the only thing we benefit from this country.
Let's not forget Lagos State is collecting 5% of this 25% that Bolt is taking.
Now let's calm down and reason this thing, who should we really channel our anger at?

The App companies, are doing alot to be honest, yes they can do more but let's not sound like they aren't doing anything at all.

At the bolded, I would love that too, I swear. But its just a fairy tale isn't it grin

I feel your pain bro, this happened to me one time like that, she ordered 2 rides and we both got there at the same time and we both put our hazard light on, that moment I saw another car, I knew we were for same rider, she came down and entered the other guy car, I started calling her but she didn't pick, I just dropped a message that "she may think she have sense by ordering 2 rides and waiting for who gets to her 1st but that's just a very senseless thing to do"

Na so she dey call me o, I just block her straight and move on...

Lol ... Ewu, I have created a telegram group for 2021, 2022, about to do for 2023.

If not that your small brain was paining you, you'll understand that strategies change and new drivers come on board. I do this out of love for humanity because there are too many stupid people on this thread giving advise, you included. Your own stupidity is compartmentalized, in the sense that you don't even know what's going on, but feel you must have an opinion. You're like the mad man in the market square talking to himself. Everyone sees him speaking, no one pays attention. The men on the group are old enough. They are on this thread, watching you perform for them, as the circus clown that you are. Many have been there as long as two years. Ask them how much I've requested for before you get drunk on your own urine.

Cry all you want, I do what I want when I want it. I control how you feel. Obfuscated monkey

You have touched on some of the issues that they're not looking at. They think these arbitrary demands will not have a knock-on effect on the whole ecosystem. Raise fares arbitrarily and shrink the customer base. Your 10 trips of 2k each become 5 trips of 3k each. Raise fares but landlords must not raise rent.
Regulators would not also look at protecting customers?
Reduce commission but continue to provide services to keep the app running. Is it only drivers that have been impacted by increased operating costs?
People talk like they have no idea how businesses are run.

Also, Rida and InDrive came in to fill that gap bolt and Uber have left, make Dem use those two nau
Maybe you should look at it this way, Uber is a special form of transport service that ensures the comfort and safety of riders. That special service is not for everyone. Just like flight, it is meant for those who can afford it. You want quality, you pay for it. When Uber started in Nigeria, the price was extremely high and Nigerians still used it. It was taxify/bolt that spoiled the business by introducing ridiculous prices, because they wanted to break into the market. Something they themselves are paying for with indrive and rida further slashing the price. Trust me, if all these app companies are providing vehicles and maintenance, they will be charging more than what the union is demanding and Nigerians will still patronize them.
Airlines increased flight from 35,000 to 75,000, did it stop Nigerians from flying?
If moove is managing Dru's fleet of cars, the conditions given to drivers would be softer compared to them managing their own vehicle.

They made too many promises to drivers back then for them to port from Uber. It's why drivers are always on their neck, they feel betrayed.

If someone book me and cancel, I don't have problem with that. Things beyond our control happen and there's nothing anyone can do about that. Allowing drivers to drive for 10 mins as alternative? They suppose break the person finger.

Our ladies are something else or should I say all ladies. I remember a girl booked a ride. I got there and wait for 15 mins before calling her back. Then she open up about not embarking on the trip again and how she has been trying to cancel the trip. Inside my mind, so you will just cancel trip without a word after 15 mins? She ask me to send my account. Told her thank you, she can keep her money, but next time she should call and explain.

I don't beat myself over riders cancelling after booking, for me it's about not stressing the driver needlessly.

Thanks.

On best app, I like bolt too( the fact that I only get orders within a set range is bae, and no competition for a trip), but the day I used indrive. Order wan kill me.( Competition and the idea of riders still taking advantage of drivers in this period is discouraging.)

What do you suggest about this muscle drinking fuel anyhow pls?

GeneralZodd:

Answers to your questions

The App I use is BOLT: Number 1 ehailing app in Nigeria. I don't use Indrive, Rida and Uber their price is not really so good this subsidy period.

I Started work by 7am. By 12 noon I have made 28k thanks to long trips. I took 1 hour break to eat lunch. Continue by 1pm till 7pm. I have realized 51k.

30% of my trip was island and 70% was mainland.
