Yes, not everywhere is filled with dense multistorey apartment. There areas for duplexes with much space. The multistorey areas is for average people. The super rich live at the outskirts filled with mansions

Onitsha has always been a beautiful city from those days, even without the modern buildings. Those blocks of buildings can be found anywhere in the world. The are not indication of civilization, the people are.

Onitsha is where you find the tolerant people in those days. They were liberal and accommodating. Indeed, so much so other Igbo do not see them as real Igbo.

In the days when high school children go on excursions all over Nigeria, Onitsha was a definite stop. Mind you we lodged in high school boarding houses throughout Nigeria.

I missed those days.

i just saw a city growing on its own , powered 100% by individual Private igbo pocket without Federal Goverment support, i see a city that started as a commercial city but has transformed to an industrial and business Hub , A city that is a melting point for business minded people and investors.

Very soon , if Onitsha becomes stable enough without the needless sit at home , we will start seeing business specialised in bringing in talents and investments as is obtainiable in Dubai and London although igbo diaspora funds which i estimate to be above N10 Trillion Naira per annum is enough for the East
