GloriousGbola:Dangote is Emefieles (outsized) majority customer in FX provision. Emefiele.is currently under arrest for crimes related to FX provision Dangote who is worth $13bln has mysteriously paid off an $18bln refinery long before loans were due while keeping all his other assets intact . Questions should be asked by any logical mind |

Ibime:As a Nigerian , I can’t dispute the bold . When a Nigerian businessman starts quoting dollars up and down , he won’t tell u about part of the dollars he accessed at a cheap exchange rate o. With Emefiele well known for his round tripping , I won’t put it beyond him if he’s enriched himself while making the Dangote dream come true . |

larride:It is very simple and straightforward the way you wrote it until you enter street and see realities.. Let take a 5year course for instance baring strike... 5 years + 1 year NYSC=6 year gone...with our unemployment rate..you need to be ahead of others by learning new things to spice up ur CV (let say 1 year gone)....,then d next phase is facing age barrier as well as "malnourished connection"..... All this, while you are in the street trying to make a ljving for survival. My set for example(we still in connection tru wassap.. none of us got pet job..I mean not even one (we had 3 first class)...many have to go into biz...yahoo....japa...politics.n bank jobs wch took another more years after waiting for pet job. Baba.....Nigeria reality will shock you.... |

liveLongNprospa:No be new thing say husband dey influence wife judgement. Even some of the judges that are men, there are going to be lot of cases that their wife influence their judgement. It's wrong in its entirety but na so humans be. Mary Odili, the wife of Peter Odili was the one that gave a restraining order against efcc from investigating or prosecuting his husband Peter Odili. The efcc has been trying to vacate that order for more than 10yrs now unsuccessfully. Hopefully now that shes retired, efcc will be able to vacate the order. Mary Odili was also the lead justice in the Supreme Court Bayelsa Governorship case that sacked a duly elected David Lyon and install Diri a PDP candidate because of difference in names in certificate of the deputy governor-elect of APC. Peter Odili is a strong PDP man. You can make the connection. I'm surprised that you are surprised at the revelation tho. |

BlueRayDick:How about a proposition where the dollar cost of the refinery is inflated to 2x, dollar are sourced at cheap rate and exchanged back at normal rate to pay off the local loans? That theory follow too |

Segedinho:Uncle you are practically saying the realities now will be the same in 7yrs, that's what you are saying. Please pray tell uncle Sege, why is it that in your own crystal ball, you cant see an improved economy in the next 7yrs? The student loan is not for those that have already gone to school, it's for those that just want to school. I dont know the kind of mentality you have towards life tho, because if you expect the way things are now to be the same way it will be in the next 7 to 10yrs, I dont know what to say to you bro.. In the next 7 to 10yrs, things can either turn out to be good or to out to be worse, you can plan your life on it be worse tho while those who want can plan their life on it being good. Lastly, the loan is optional, nobody is forcing anybody to take the loan. If you think you wont get job in the next 7yrs, go and learn handwork and prosper in your own way. |

sod09:That's why amendment can be made to a bill, like I said in the morning, I'll prefer the repayment to starts whenever the students starts earning income. Because the economy was bad from 2014 till now doesn't mean the economy cannot experience boom that will bring in jobs (or turn for the worse as well). The argument that students won't get job 7 to 10yrs from now to start repayment of their loans because of the rate of unemployment currently doesn't really hold water for me. |

larride:It is extremely plausible to be optimistic but must be in a haste to weigh options... As at present,we are among the worst in employment rate and we are not seeing enough encouragement to forecast a positive change... We seems decelerating as year progresses...from when Fela dragged d government thru music to Eadris Abdukareem "jaga jaga"till now...it is a steep step downward. We have got same recycled politicians doing same things but this time with higher greed and you think optimism is the answer ?My very first opinion on this loan as well as subsidy was/is wrong timing Presently,we haven't in any form improve in our endeavours...realities seems bleak...there ought to be iota of improvement in some sectors to warrant optimism and trust...... Then loan isn't mandatory you said, what about we see huge increase in fees...are we ready to face the full wrath of uneducation plus unemployment ? |

larride:Most importantly, it is not compulsory. You can decide to pay by yourself as lots of people do. No strike action going forward by ASUU Then, it is not the duty of the government to create jobs. This is singularly the biggest misconception by Nigerians. The government should/must create a good environment for business owners but not jobs. Government create jobs in communist blocs So for an indigent student, it is a choice to be made after due consultation on the importance of the degree to his finances. People won't be have to do unreasonable courses and can actually read what they want to. |

Spy360:This particular pipeline was shut down throughout the whole of last year because of crude bunkering. It is one of Nigeria biggest oil pipeline, 400 illegal connections were detected and removed last month of April, and there was a 24 percent surge in the corresponding month of may. |

Shaytun:Lmao this is another one nnpc should be made to answer for their crimes. There's no where in the world with pipe monitoring equipment that they will claim for 7yrs they didn't know and only started discovering in the last year (2022) of Buhari's presidency. Lmao these guys did hot tapping for years but na last year them finally shut am down to act film with channels tv😂😂 |

liveLongNprospa:I really don't know how people who defend Buhari's incompetence live with themselves. Buhari will cluelessly look on while a bad situation gets worse, after much shalaye and agitation by political commentators, he will try and clear some of the mess made under his supervision and somehow that must be something worth celebrating; else u will be labelled "hater" . smh |
