No. The way you opened the Thread is the problem. Most big churches today start as fellowships in someone's sitting room. Imagine if Catholic, Anglican, RCCG, LFC don't take offerings and tithes. How will they cope with their workers?

Just invite us to your fellowship. If I ever come there or any other fellowship and offerings are forbidden, I will never go back again.

I see giving as a source of blessings from God.

You don't even know if I was an ex top pastor in rccg, you don't even know there are men of God who don't take tithe in this country. Its funny that you think some of this churches of God are built on tithe.

Do you know what crusade ministry is, to you people everything is church, and the reason you go to church it's not to serve freely without expecting anything

Its people like that Jesus said you think you're doing something that makes you different from sinners, listen, even sinners won't give or borrow those who can't give back to them.

The question still remains. Giving is an age long part of Christianity and even in the Old Testament estament. Did Jesus condemn it, no. Did he condemn tithing No. Paul by choice decided not to be paid anything. His choice to be considered as doctrine, No. TB Joshua, I don't judge any Man of God. Association is by choice. If I don't like what you are doing, I don't associate with you.

Are the Men of God, thieves? I don't judge. If I am convinced that what you are doing is for God, it doesn't matter which ministry, as led, I give according to capacity.

We don't need to fight.

If offerings were made compulsory by certain churches, those churches will either deny entry into services based on offering status of worshippers or eject worshippers. That isn't the case with churches.
Making provision for offering is not equal to forcing it or making it compulsory.
