Dude looks better than he was when he got married.

On a flip note, exclude sex from marriage and watch majority shy away from marriage.

I would love to have a marriage devoid of sex. Who is up for this?
u self,give it a rest!

You don’t need to reply to every miscreant. Silence is best.

Many kids on the forum.

It’s my 17th wedding anniversary today and I would love to share a few tips.
1. Unmet expectations are the No 1 causes of divorce. Act like the success of the marriage depends on only you.
2. Communication must never stop. Avoid malice and separation under the guise of recovering or getting your heads straight.
3. You are one in the marriage and no party should feel like they are less.
4. Don’t involve family members in your marriage under the guise of seeking advise. Get a mentor with several decades of successful marriage.
5. Spend some time away from the stress together to bond and connect.
6. Be in the circle of people with successful marriages

Happy 17th wedding Anniversary to me and my boo.
Congratulations, forever more to go

I know about good characters and other stuff.

What I want to know is the sex part, how do they keep the fire burning between the sheets for all these years?

I have my pen and paper ready... grin grin grin
trust me, sex is not part of what hold marriage... If it's based on sex, they won't last long... Having sec with the same girl for a year alone is enough for me to get used to such girl that I won't be sexually active around her.

How do you guys keep the fire burning between the sheets for 17 years?
Very easy, if care is not taken, you might even be peeping on your spouse while bathing because you want to see him or her body more and more. Once together and in peace, there is nothing like years between the two.

What's the meaning of all these

Re: My 17th Wedding Anniversary Today And Getting Stronger by Nobody: 10:10am On Jun 18, 2023
But that still doesn't answer my question and it seems like no one has the answer for the question.

Life has taught me not to believe anything I see in pictures, especially those of happy couples... I also know of some couples who look very happy in the pictures, but their homes are never at peace.

If sex didn't form a big part of a marriage, then men wouldn't be complaining of how their wives are denying them sex, and they also wouldn't see a need to cheat on their wives by sleeping with other women just because their wives are denying them at home.

That's because I already know about other stuff concerning marriage, but i don't know much when it comes to keeping the fire burning in the other room for 17 years.

Why is everyone on this thread so shy to open up though? grin grin grin I also want to have a successful marriage and the bottom line is that there's no successful marriage without some steamy sex.

Where are those men and women who have been married for more than 10 years? I need your advice... grin grin grin

Receive brain in Jesus name. The first picture shows 40 in the background. At least your sense should tell you one of us was 40 in that picture.

Poverty na bad thing o, how can you marry somebody's daughter when she's looking so fresh, and after so many years you have her looking as wretched as you?

This why I will never see any woman as a gold digger because at the end of the day, I won't let my own sister marry a wretch. The same way a man wants what's best for himself is also the same way women want what's best for themselves. So I don't blame them!
I want to believe you are not referring to Op and the pictures he posted...

Becos if you shine your eyes well well....you will realize they are both looking good now than when they just got married ....especially the wife

if you are referring to the op and his wife then you need to go check/take care of your mental health for being so bitter towards people who are mere strangers whose affairs should be nine of your business

Yeah, you are really right that pictures of happy couples are very deceitful. This is for those that don't really understand what marriage is all about.

A wife that desires the husband, a wife that has that connection with the husband will always desire intimacy from him.

But when there is a disconnect between the two, that's why issues of sex denial comes to play, issues like deceitful pictures happen, boring marriages set in.

But a couple that understand themselves could stay up to 20 years together and still have that connection and still desire themselves, still miss themselves if the other partner is not around.

IT IS POSSIBLE. Only when there is real love and understanding between the two.

Anything on the contrary, will be a nightmarish marriage of sex denial and the resultant cheating and other consequences

Are you still wondering? Let me know
