Go and read the Story of how Prime Minister Balewa's self imposed Brigade of Guards Commander Major Don Okafor directed and helped those who terminated Balewa's life

Balewa was very fond of Major Don Okafor because he was born in Kaduna and raised in Kano and was very fluent in Hausa with which he often Communicated with Balewa

Balewa insisted on Okafor being made the Commander of the Federal Guards which provided him and his family Security and also provided Security for other highly placed FG Officials
