Yep. This is why I want the FG to make massive investments in our domestic league (revamp stadia, get TV deals, encourage private sector investment, fix imagery, modernize,etc.,).

Doing so will not only improve our football but it can create many jobs.

Their IQ is lower than the pitch quality, unfortunately.

Someone who speaks my language.

Osimhen is now 20 goals away from equalling Yekini's Goals Record for the Super Eagles.

Against Sao Tome, Osimhen has the sweet chance to cut the gap to 16 coz I feel he can score 4 again or even more. Lol

i will even prefer he doesn't start that game. E get why. Let's see what the others can do in his absence to start with. Vos if hebis not around and they can't survive, then o pari!!

egwuekwe went to finland, south Africa, Libya and came back home, odunlami went to romania
and is now in india, reuben went to Kilmarnock, played 3 games, played in 3 other european countries and now based in Saudi, oboabona played in turkey and is now in georgia. after using home based players in his team, the best club anyone of them signed for was a spor team in retirement league turkey. Basically we helped their career but did they improve the national team?? we have a plethora of teams to use for showcasing talents but the super eagles should never be one of them. We can't improve the team if we continue this madness. Let them use the chan team to build confidence. I repeat, the Sao tome game should only be to cap new players. We dont really play that much games to be using one of them as confidence booster for the home based eagles. You are really not helping your case over here.
Nice Analogy which makes a lot of sense. However, a player's trajectory in foreign based clubs is first dependent on the player's well informed choice and his Club and National Team form and his fitness in his first 2 clubs.
Analyse Finidi George from Sharks to Ajax, Tijanni Babangida from Niger Tornadoes to VVV Venlo, Daniel Amokachi from Ranchers Bees to Club Brugge, Okechukwu Uche from Iwuanyanwu Nationale to Brondby, then recent times Kelechi Iheanacho's first move to Man City, Victor Osimhen's 1st move to Wolfsburg. Compare with the likes of Dele Alampasu, Late Sam Okoye, Godfrey Oboabona, Azubuike Egwuekwe, etc.

Sky Sport Deutschland: Bayern Munich remain in the race
to sign Napoli striker Osimhen

German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich remain
interested in Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
This was confirmed by Sky Sport Deutschland transfer
market expert, Florian Plettenberg who wrote on his
Twitter page on Tuesday morning that Osimhen is still a
priority target for Bayern Munich.

He disclosed that the Bavarians still want to sign a
marquee striker in the summer transfer window and are
working on a strategy to make that happen.

The club executives Uli HoeneƟ and Karl-Heinz
Rummenigge want to make a statement signing this
summer and have shortlisted Osimhen as a top target.

The 24-year-old is not the only desired target, with
French striker Randal Kolo Muani and England's record
top scorer, Harry Kanealso on their shortlist.

Osimhen is one of the best strikers in Europe at the
moment and has attracted the interest of big teams in
Europe.

While the Italian Serie A champions are still hoping he
signs a contract extension, Napoli owner Aurelio De
Laurentiis wants 150 million euros (estimated as N120
billion in Nigerian currency) from any team willing to
prize him away from the Blues.

Osimhen is also attracting interest from Chelsea,
Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
Bayernā€˜s position is very clear and confirmed again:
They still want to sign ONE big striker! They are pursuing
a clear strategy in the background.

Well you are right but Enyeama used friendly match against Kenya to show he was ready and he capped it with solid performance against England in WC,just second cappedā€¦..One thing I noticed about Adeleye was his ball playing from the back.It is a pity tall keepers like Okoye and Maduka are not convincing.
Okoye and Uzoho are competing for who can disappoint Nigerians more. Just when we think one is better than the other, he fumbles.

The new guy needs a few more game to assess him better.

that guy is better than uzoho

Uzoho wey no good with em feet, pass ball to him em go play am like who gets 2 left legs.

The new guy from Israeli has the qualities of a modern day goal minder. Though he is still raw but under the right tutelage he may be the next Vincent enyeama
I agree, if the guy continues to improve, he can become a proper modern day GK. But presently, he's below Uzoho. Uzoho has faced some pretty fierce attacks and came out tops.

We are not exploiting our pool of players.

I personally think CHAN competition is a waste for Nigeria.. I would rather prefer a nations league reserved for a team B with no geographic restriction.

Osimhen does not need an easy pass. he will beat Yekini's record regardless. We need to see more players.. We need to test our depth in attack and otherwise.

charlesemeka85:
even with less friendly game, if osimhen continue with heā€™s form to the next afcon and World Cup qualifiers he may get up to ten to eleven goals in both footballing series
