Yorubas have 3 out of the top 5 richest Nigerians. Those guys have policies that protect their businesses. Look at Elumelu.

Look at how Ibeto ended up, now look at Dangote. Look at Dangote and Abdulsamad Rabiu.
bt Dangote, rabiu and elumelu ain't Yoruba.....we should stop this tribalistic bullsh"t.

Yet the Igbos would be leaking Ijaw people's arse morning and night - attache by force.

Asari was actually right. Benin and Itsekiri people also had Igbo slaves. Reno spoke about this topic 2 years ago.

Confused bush pig ...

Today "Igbos marginalised us during old Eastern region, they made us second class citizens" tomorrow " We dealt with Igbos, we sold them as slaves before the British..

When you are confused in life, this is the result you will be seeing.. Asari is a case study..

Meanwhile, his people should call him to order now and caution him for his recent idiotic utterances because when the chips are down, it might be a collective flogging..

Igbos are not minority tribe you can subdue and go to sleep with your two eyes closed and hope they will go into extinction in yrs to come, thereby making you and your generation to come to escape their wrath in the future, No we are not minority.. We are expanding more than we never imagined beyond South East even before the the arrival colonial masters, let alone now..

All these madness exhibited by this clown is well and properly documented.. At the appropriate time, it would be dugged up and use it to justify the brutality he would receive in no distant time ...

Kalabari should call this boy to order now because silence is a sign of approval ..

He's setting a great trap and digging a political grave for himself and his supporters..

Asari is not wise, I just dey pity this man..
Brutality? From who?

It is factual what he said
The Ibos were sold as slaves by Kalabari for decades if not centuries
Not only them,The other Ijaw groups ,Itsekiri Ikwerre Efik and Ibibio all sold Ibos

Ibos became relevant after the slave trade when the numbers of unsold slaves ballooned and The Ibo population became a majority
British gave power based on population
If not British that brought democracy how could Ibos face Ijaw?
They were not advanced beyond village level of umunna level.
That is why Ikwerre resent being called Ibo because they were their slaves before Britain turned everything upside down

But it's true nah.

Igbos were selling their own indiscriminately without pretext of war down the river to the middlemen tribes that inhabited the coast.

The Arochukwu slave raiding cult was so prolific that over 800k Igbos were exported out of Calabar slave port in one single year.

I won't agree with Asari that he will still be selling slaves as the Aro cult would have harvested Igbo land to extinction.

This is why I wonder why the Igbo hate the British who stopped the Jewish slave trade on them and led them out of their Hobbessian state like frightened children into the world.

If not for Lugard, the Igbo will still be at best a savage race but today both the British and Lugard are the Igbo's greatest enemy while the Jew who profited from their slavery , their best friends.

The Igbo does not know how to differentiate friend from foe
He is an ingrate who takes kindness as weakness hence why the only race that allowed them to cohabit with them after the civil war are now the most hated among the Igbo to the extent they see the Yoruba as weak for allowing them to settle and thrive within their land despite Igbos being rejected from every other region.

It's a real pity how the Igbo man reasons .
They were rejected by their cousins (the ikwere). I have on video ikweres mocking Igbos about the abandon properties that they took over after Igbos fled eastward.

I don’t know of Asgard .. but is too early to celebrate foolishness ..

Tinubu is being pushed to work by someone he think less of.. now the whole Yoruba land is celebrating .. what their superiors igbos has made them do.. today their superiors dictate the pace of the criminal .. with all this the fear of uncertainties has made you restless ..

You were never like this ..

This is not celebration my friend ..

All I see is fear.. masked.

I know Yoruba too well..

Over here ... everyone is glued to tribunal.. because everyone know that the fear of the outcome is the beginning of the wisdom to a Yoruba asiwaju supporter

And that fear will turn real..

So my freind .. you’re a not celebrating anything .. deep down in you .. your spirit knows this truth

Now you see .. you’re only mocking yourself .. and this site is only place you find peace .. with the likes and shares
Guy rest. Peter Obi lost gallantly. And no court/tribunal in Nigeria would unseat a president.

This same Asari threatened the Ohaneze and the Ohaneze apologised. Is that not cowardice from the Ohaneze?
The best response for this is a heavier response.

Asari is a bastard for this nonsense he said and posterity will not be kind to him. The insult is too much for Igbos to swallow and I hope Igbos respond to this useless talk.

But on the other hand, Kanu said worse than this and he was supported by stupid Igbos (who are in the majority).
So he just came out of the blue and started insulting Ibos for no reason?

People must learn to take responsibility.
There is a cause for any effect. You say insult is too much.....

Which group of people do the most insulting?
This is a clear case of reaping what was sown.
Ibos are not victims

Arochukwu were not Ibo. They are ruled by elements from Akwa Cross.
Aro Confedercy was never an Ibo project just like Sokoto Caliphate is not a Hausa project.
In the same way Fulani sold Hausa speaking elements from across the Sahara

But emancipated Yoruba slaves came back to their homeland and contributed immensely to it without any grudge unlike in your case where you don't have one single equivalent to the likes of Ajayi Crowther .

Why ?

Because the Yoruba slave held no grudge against his people. His fate as a slave was not systematically driven by senseless criminality but through war and conflict

Ajayi Crowther was royalty and a prince captured by warring faction .

When his bounty could not be met, he was sold off .

As despicable as it sounds, this was the norm in all civilisations in history .

Now can you tell us why there is no single equivalent to the thousand and one Yoruba returnee slaves in your Igbo land ?

We know cases of emancipated and celebrated slaves of Igbo origins but none bothered to return back to Alaigbo.

Why?

Instead most settled in Lagos , Calabar, Freetown and Monrovia .

E don tay when Una people dey dodge Una yeast .

And I don't blame Una for your yeast is a terrible place to find oneself in.
It was even Ajayi Crowther wrote first book in igbo language.

who is Asari

Asari that cant even lace the shoes of Nnamdi Kanu. He found his voice because Nnamdi Kanu is incarcerated and seems to be getting the support of Nigeria's president who is a notorious narcotics drug trafficker engaging in criminal state capture

Asari is a militant , a criminal who is engaging in economic sabotage through oil theft and oil bunkery. This is who Tinubu is hobnobbing with

Thank God you know, unlike yorubas population that had been depopulated by Benin who sold them to Portuguese, slave trade was new in Igboland before it was banned, that's why Igboland is the most densly populated. Also, coastal people formed middle men slave Marchant, they never had any military force to go into the hinterlands. All tribes from the interior brought slaves to the coast. Nothing wrong with a Yoruba publishing the first Igbo book. It's just fact and not a dick swinging contest.

The first Yoruba grammar was published in 1843, also by Bishop Samuel Ajayi Crowther.

If an Igbo speaks Yoruba well, we praise the Igbo man not the language. There is an Ibo man very popular in the SW that sings and even does incantations in the Yoruba language. The man is well celebrated.

So Ajayi crowther, a slave dumped in Freetown who joined British missionaries to work in Nigeria, wrote first book in both yoruba and Igbo, I'm sure he wrote in many other languages in the course of their missionary work, and you are chest beating over nothing?
