Consequences of their actions.
Try to respect every kindness shown to you; never be rude to your benefactors no matter how successful you have become.
Respect the natives wherever you find yourself.

What's the unnecessary fuss all about

Similar dilapidated buildings was demolished in Onitsha recently without any wahala.

Sebi Lagos is a No Man's Land

Besides,Ohaneze Indigbo People have refuted the insinuation on this matter.

We can't allow Lagos to be turn to a shanty towns and erosion-ravaged cities like in other parts of Nigeria.

Tell me why you people went to pay? And you paid for what? Is the govt saying you owed them? Pls paid for what in particular?

Lagos is filled with substandard structure and the govt must take action to safe life so this is not witch hunting or a targetted exercise, pls life must be save.

Is the N6m for continuation endangering peoples life and a bribe? Explai pls and kindly let's stop playing victim in everything, Soludo demolished many properties in Anambra and still planning to demolish more no one claimed witch hunting or wizard hunting or ojujucalabar hunting but when it happens in other region then noise begin.

How many of them have been demolished?

Why did you have to start in the most controversial area.

They created the narrative and will not explain it out anyway, in their pride

I mean were they not granted approval by Lagos State Town Planners? You can't really build structures without approval. And mind you, this is not a tribal thing so if you really cannot respond beyond tribal talks, it's safer not to respond.

Everybody knows that even with approval nobody comes back to check if you built using the right quality. Approving a three storey building is different to ensuring that it has the required strength.

LASG is now requiring approvals to come with 3D diagrams and video.

Build quality is the real issue. The pictures I saw of some of those shops here on NL were scary: exposed iron rods etc.

Kai. It's like the govt used the money to buy diesel for the bulldozers and pay police to secure the demolition process.

As a matter of fact, they paid to Alpha Beta who collects on behalf of LASG. Alpha Beta will never reject ANY MONEY. They can actually write LASG for a REFUND in this case that is if what they nominated as being Paid for in those Receipts are not ARREARS PAYMENTS. Otherwise O to lo.

Alpha Beta will take their usual % and remit the balance to LASG coffers.

Go Onistha and see what real extortion is like.

None of them will think of relocating back to the yeast even if LASG tax them for breathing because what suffices in Peter Obi's Anambra is far worse.

This is aside the lawlessness and hopeless criminality that abounds in that yeast.

Lagos needs to put the squeeze on them to remind them that Lagos is truly not a No man's land.

Coming from a Rat that owns nothing, whose parents never owned anything, whose children will also never own anything.

All these Yoruba street Rats.

Your Zikist interpretation of one Nigeria is no longer valid

We are returning back to true federalism and getting rid of the useless parasitic federal system.

You Igbos keep exposing your fake Biafra as a ploy to control the centre and other people's resources.

It's no longer feasible

You will be weaned off federal handouts and learn to remain in your yeast.

We can not practise a system that encourages internal colonialism under a Marxist arrangement

Get ready for Alaigbo biafra or SE region .

It's your choicem

facts, it is now up to our people in Yoruba land to boycott them on a full scale. the quickest way to drive them out is to stop renting houses and shops to them, stop buying from them, stop employing them and issue business license to any1 that wants to do business in yorubaland. ladipo and the entire Amuwo-Odofin needs a total sweep off, those areas are the power house of those anti yoruba devils from the SE.

Most of the buildings have lived out their lifespan. Its not about approval or not. Such buildings are also visible at popular Ladipo market and Itire road

I see u are just a school boy
But let me give u a little school lesson. Let's say Chukwudi leaves spare parts business for you and goes to anambra and receives his consignment and sells from there, as a businessman, how do you fill in the gap he created in lagos?
Or you think the cartel that controls spare parts importation abroad will agree to ship spare parts to you?

Ok LASG increases the tax of chukwudi who sells Tyre 30k. And Chukwudi now sells his Tyre to you for 33k, now who pays the tax

Some of you are actually very dumb
u people present it as if it’s only igbos that are doing business

What's all this rubbish for crying out loud.

If you are rejected in a particular region, why not move to your region and develop same as you guys claim you did in no man's land.

I believe your narrative has been changed that indeed is a man's land.

Bro they didn't know and they don't know

I wish the full documentation and interview of how warri failed will come out with interviews granted to those who had first hand experience.

The beauty of a city is the diversity and not awakening the spirit of its our land. Igbos have gotten the memo they will start looking outside lagos.
But anybody thinking he can do the business Igbos are doing us just cracking jokes. He doesn't know of what we call import cartels. Soon people will come to anambra to buy laptops, electronics and spare parts just like they are coming to Lagos to do so.

Igbos should channel their entire energy on pushing for Onne port and anambra port

Talk is cheap, do it first and let us see it. get to work and stop crying victimisation. the entire gdp of SE is just the same as that of ogun state. lagos is not be your mate, yorubas made it an economic and maritime hub b4 colonisation when your forefathers were still running butt naked in the bush hunting rats 2 eat. With all the noise about unknown billionaires in Anambra we cant see nothing.
