It's not direct war, it's a process of imposing or getting your ideology on another country, it takes some process and propaganda to achieve this. Part of the process is to having military base in that country which Russia 🇷🇺 has achieved, control some part of the country, sponsored to remove the president and install your allies. All these are taking time only because of West intervention not Ukraine strength. It takes even US years to achieve that in Iraq 🇮🇶, Afghanistan 🇦🇫, and so on. So far, Russia is still on the course

Wagner top brass are former Russian army generals.
Their fighters are former Russian special forces.
Their logistics is handled by the Russian army.
Their air force is serviced by the Russian Aerospace Force (VKS).
Their weapons comes from the Russian ministry of defense.
Their pay comes from the Russian government.

So how can they fight Russia?

Some mobilized soldiers and kids of top Russian officials even joined Wagner instead of joining the regular Russian army. Even the son of Putin's spokesman, Peskov, is in Wagner. So does it make sense that Russia and Wagner will fight themselves?

it seems you don't know much about tactical nuclear weapons,the reason why nuke is difficult to use now is what is called MAD(mutual assured destruction)it online in 1945 only America has nukes to bomb,now Pakistan,India,etc now has nukes,if you use your own another country will nuke you,tit for tat,Russia will be worse because Britain,France and America has nukes.

The problem with nukes...with a normal bomb, the damage is limited to point X. With nuclear weapons, the damage spreads from point X to point Y. Friends and foes are all affected.

There are lower yield tactical nuclear weapons designed for use against enemy formations and armour including bunkers and other toughened defensive structures. There are also weapons designed to neutralize enemy communications by EMP discharge.
Not all nuclear weapons are high yield mass destruction devices.
