Why Do Nigerians Shy Away From Demanding Good Governance? by isArray: 12:03am On Jun 25, 2023 |
It's very confusing when the masses(people at the bottom of the chain) defend politicians that are meant to serve the people, it's okay if there good works are being commended and it will be glaring because people will see and feel it, but why do people defend those that have meted hardship on them? It's understandable if some people are being paid to do this, but I'd like to know what the others stand to gain. 4 Likes |

Monkey im no fine but im mama like am. GEJ enjoyed unwavering brotherly support despite his flaws and room for improvements. Buhari too got four more years to destroy. Tinubu too is enjoying similar patronage. Anyone who demands good governance is allocated a village in Abia and Anambra same time. |

isArray: It's called tribal & religious supremacy in Nigeria. Every tribe and religion wants to take the leadership mantle even if it's representative is handicapped. The British was very smart at it, that's why they packed all the hundreds of tribes together. 4 Likes |

Someone that takes advice from mad men on the street is who you want us to entrust our beloved country to! Tufiakwa. CondenseMilk: Most insightful answer thus far! The OP may be shocked to know that to a lot of shortsighted and medieval-minded Nigerians, political oneupmanship and capturing state power for their ethnicity or religion, is the endgame….the ‘prize’ with which they can use to gloat and sound triumphant in the face of the ‘competition’! It doesn’t matter the physical and mental capacity of the kinsman/ally they’re supporting, insofar as they capture that power by hook or crook! Any wonder Nigeria has been stagnating or even regressing since 1960? 2 Likes |

Ajagunakin: PO's "finishing" is generationally way ahead of your own "starting".😆😆😜😜 Kenyans, Zambians, South Africans etc are arguing about what their Presidents spoke about in Paris, na how dem no put Tinubu for photo una dey argue. Tinubu is so brilliant, stage fright seize am for Paris and couldn't announce his arrival at the international stage with speeches and talks that should have inspired standing ovation. One of your fellow WhatsApp group members by the name Bello Shagari on Twitter even rationalized Tinubu not addressing the world. While someone replied him on Twitter with the below. "William Ruto was elected the President of Kenya in August, 2022 and in September 2022, just a month after his election, attended the 77th UN General Assembly in New York and SPOKE to the world .... Tinubu supporters should look for another cheap excuse!" 😜😜😆😆😆😆 3 Likes

How did they shy away? People did their best to VOTE and what happened despite the inhumane treatment from the APCrime lords? Do you want them to kill themselves? What else could they have done that INEC AND APC did not UNDO? They should end up like they did in END SARS abi? Now we know all the KKK STATES and all the “Block Vote” LIES! Now we know who the sponsors of “The Unknown Ghost-Gun Men” are. Now we know that the hatred for the IGBOS in Nigeria is only in the minds of a few sick phocks in the Western and Northern parts of Nigeria using buffoons like Alakori ASARO Humpty-Dumpty DokUmBo from the South-South to capture NK and destabilize the SE. Still waiting on the intel on Pat Utomi. Those who live by TRAITORS shalt die by TRAITORS. Iseeeeeeeeee!!!! Please, start another thread. Or get a job as a cleaner at the Appeal Court! 3 Likes |

Introducing and promoting poverty is a popular control method in politics. There is power in numbers and most of the poor are what the politicians need, so keeping them poorer will improve their chances of winning. When 100 people haven't been able to eat for days and someone promises them a loaf bread for their voters card, they tend to comply. That's what's happening and it happens during all elections in Nigeria. 3 Likes |

LOVEALAIGBO: The British knows that Nigerians will fight logahead with each other when they are packed together like this. Which would finally result to it's underdevelopment. You will find same when you move from West Africa to a bit eastward and down to the Southern part of Africa. Nations that where created under white GREED Compare Nigeria when it was under a regional system and now! They come and preach unity in tribal-diversity to you people and all that nonsense but when you go to their country you have only one constitution and that's the English (one tribe) constitution which is also built on one religion (Christianity) with one monarch. The moment Britain officially recorgnises another religion into it's constitution, it's downfall would be next. 5 Likes |
