Atiku and Peter Obi have both closed their respective cases without proving how they won the election. So, the idea of the court declaring any of them the winner of the election is out of the equation.

The second part of their plea is to get Tinubu disqualified on three grounds. Shettima’s so called double nomination that has now been thrashed by the Supreme Court. 25% of FCT that the two parties seems to have abandoned as they didn’t push this argument seriously. Even if they’ve pushed it, section 299 already made it clear FCT should be treated like a state so it won’t even matter.

The third argument is to get him disqualified by a combination of certificate forgery, dual citizenship and drug conviction.

The certificate forgery is of two nature. Chicago state university and NYSC. As regards Chicago state university, the University already issued a public statement that Bola Tinubu graduated from the University. That alone is enough to settle the matter. All the gymnastic about the color or font of certificate is nonsense.

On NYSC, I would have expected Atiku’s legal team to subpoena NYSC to prove the authenticity of the certificate submitted by Tinubu but they failed to do that. So, how did they arrive at the conclusion that the certificate was forged? NYSC is the only authority that can confirm the authenticity or otherwise of an NYSC certificate.

On the drug conviction issue, it is as empty as the lawyer PDP brought to as witness to prove the case. The witness simply helped PDP to ruin a case that was faulty right from the start. There was no criminal conviction or indictment in the forfeiture. The communication from the US government to the IGP already cleared him of all allegation.

Overall, Atiku and Peter Obi simply wasted everyone’s time. They had no case of rigging so they had to throw in a lot of allegations hoping one will stick. Sadly, they proved none. The two cases will be dismissed with heavy cost to the petitioners.
So let's say B.A.T's papers are deemed legit, you deliberately missed the part where INEC's entire process has been questioned?

The current evidence which have been admitted by court heavily indict's INEC & that is enough to potentially throw "some people" in jail.

Brilliant lawyers may wriggle B.A.T out of the petitions against him, but to be honest INEC is in a different can entirely. The ruling will definitely shock people.

Lies! Obi's lawyers wouldn't have brought those CTC of polling unit results to court if they hadn't done Thier calculations and discovered that what EYENECK announced was different from what reflected in the polling unit stations nationwide...a recount of the votes of polling unit will determine the actual winner of the election.
You are wasting time. Read their petition. They did not ask for a recount anywhere. They simply asked for the CTCs in case they had to refer to any. They did refer to some. Why will they ask for a recount of the very result they said was manipulated, changed and suppressed. Remove emotion and self assumption.

Follow the case you will not. They already did that. Results only changed (extra) in Benue and Rivers. Thier analyst/expert was asked why he did not collate the rest. He said he only had time for two. It was letter found that it was collated and they purposely kept quiet about that.

Thier star witness was presented with this facts and he couldn't say any thing. That's why people said he fumbled. The whole court laughed out loud. Check IamV thread

64.—(1) The presiding officer shall endorse the word “rejected” on the

(2) If an objection to the decision of a presiding officer to reject a ballot

(3) The presiding officer shall prepare a statement on rejected ballot
papers, stating the number rejected, the reason for rejection and their serial
number, and he or she shall on request, allow a candidate or a polling agent to
copy the statement.
(4) A collation officer or returning officerat an election shall collate and

confirmation that the—
(a) number of accredited voters stated on the collated result are correct
and consistent with the number of accredited voters recorded and transmitted
directly from polling units under section 47 (2) of this Act ; and
(b) the votes stated on the collated result are correct and consistent with
the votes or results recorded and transmitted directly from polling units
under section 60 (4) of this Act.
Smart youth, kindly show me BVAS or iRev in that statute. --- None.

But since you quoted 64 I'm it's entirety, let me educate you. One of the things it said is that
" (2) If an objection to the decision of a presiding officer to reject a ballot
paper is raised by a candidate or a polling agent at the time the decision is
made, the presiding officer shall add to the word “rejected”, the phrase “but
objected to”.

So I ask you, why did the APC, PDP and LP sign ALL the result sheets? I hope you know the last witness by the LP confirmed yesterday that they signed all the results at the polling booths.

Thanks for your effort. I have read your extract over and over again without seeing where the law says only result directly transmitted from polling units to IREV should be collated since that’s the point you’re trying to make.

In interpreting a law, you can’t input what is not there into it. That is what you guys are trying to do. The law never said transmission directly to IREV
. The section you’re trying to rely on actually referred you to section 47(2).

Below is an extract from section 47(2) 47.

“The collation and declaration of election results shall be done at the following levels depending on the type of election:
(i) Registration Area - RA/Ward (Collation for all elections), including that of Councillor in the case of the FCT;
(ii) Local Government Area- LGA/Area Council (Collation for all elections), including that of Chairman in the case of the FCT;
(iii) State Constituency (Collation and Declaration of State House of Assembly Elections);
(iv) Federal Constituency (Collation and Declaration of House of Representatives Elections);

Now, let’s see section 48:
48. (a) An election result shall only be collated if the Collation Officer ascertains that the number of accredited voters agrees with the number recorded in the BVAS and votes scored by Political Parties on the result sheet is correct and agrees with the result electronically transmitted or transferred directly from the Polling Unit as prescribed in these Regulations and Guidelines.
(b) If a Collation or Returning Officer determines that a result from a lower level of collation is not correct, he/she shall use the result electronically transmitted or transferred directly from that lower level to collate and announce the result.
(c) if no result has been directly transmitted electronically for a polling unit or any level of collation, the provision of Clause 93 of these Regulations shall be applied.

So, what’s in clause 93? Extract below.

93. Where the INEC hardcopy of collated results from the immediate lower level of collation does not exist, the Collation Officer shall use electronically transmitted results or results from the IReV portal to continue collation. Where none of these exist, the Collation Officer shall ask for duplicate hardcopies issued by the Commission to the following bodies in the order below:
(i) The Nigeria Police Force; and
(ii) Agents of Political Parties.

When you read all the above together, you should understand the law and stop imputing what is not there. Collation is done manually and transmission to IREV is not a compulsory requirement for collation. In fact, collation and declaration of result can be done even if all that is available is hard copy of result sheets giving to police or party agents. None transmission of results directly from polling units for any reason whatsoever doesn’t invalidate the outcome of the election.

Again, direct transmission of results from polling units as envisaged under section 64(4) is not only to IREV. It is firstly about direct transmission of manual result sheets to the collation center, then direct transmission of electronically recorded result (BVAS) to the collation centre and lastly IREV. IREV is just a third layer confirmation against the manually transmitted result in case the electronically transmitted result (BVAS) is not available. Since BVAS were available, IREV was never needed for collation.
Thank you. Kids just making comments on Legal issues they know nothing of

In my view, Tinubu APC and INEC lawyers worked in synergy and are smarter than Obi Atiku lawyers. You would never see them address pressmen after court session.

Also, most of the personal grounds for disqualification against Tinubu are not new to him. He's been sued before now over those issues especially on money forfeiture.

Obasanjo, bcoz Tinubu would not stop attacking him, wrote American government in 2003 but US wrote back to clear Tinubu.

On the university of Chicago, he was taken to court but he won bcoz the university confirmed his studentship and the certificate issued to him.

On 2023 election results, Obi and Atiku brought heeps of documents but couldn't give LIVES to the documents. Those documents cannot speak for themselves, and it's not the duty of the Lord Justices to tell the documents to speak.

In other words, the petitioner failed to show how those documents support their case as the winner. And this ought to have been done state by state, local councils by local councils, what you scored and what the respondents scored, and why you the petitioner should be declared winner.

Figures were not matched with figures state by state rather they were showing TV of what INEC Chairman said and what he didn't say forgetting that INEC Regulations is not Electoral Law.

Regulations are administrative guidelines which can be altered depending on the situation while Electoral Law must be followed. So, all the documents dropped by Atiku and Obi are dead documents bcoz the lawyers failed to speak for those documents on how it affected Tinubu scores.

By the close of their petitions, we expected petitioners to have presented in a Tabular Format state by state. Aren't you surprised that those documents in the boxes were not opened for mathematical exercise? They were dumped on the judges which is wrong.

On Shettima nomination, supreme court had ruled in pre election case of Atiku that Shettima contested only once. I recall the judges asked Atiku PDP lawyers to tell the court of any primary election Shettima participated in apart from Borno Central Senatorial primary. The judges asked if Shettima contested for VP. That has been established.

On 25% in 2/3 states and FCT, section 299 has made it clear that FCT shall be treated as a state for the purpose of presidential election. Meaning that, for the purpose of presidential election, the constituency of Nigeria is one constituency which comprise of 36 states and FCT. The question to ask now is if a sub constituency is special or greater than other sub constituencies. The framers of our constitution could not be thinking of a special citizens or special Nigerians to residents of FCT. Every Nigerian is equal irrespective of your state of residency. FCT residents don't have veto power in our constitution.

On Tinubu Guinea citizenship, we all know that non Nigerian businessmen enjoy such privilege. We heard the former president of Guinea spoke on the issue that he honoured Tinubu with his country citizenship and highest Award bcoz of what he did when the country had economic challenges. It's just been politicized, it's not supposed to be an issue.

I think I've touched all the grounds of petitions.
Yeah, you did and your analyses are accurate

If the current administration doesn't change the narratives, things like that will always suffice because it's a ripple effect.

I pray God gives him the required strength to drive the nation aright

If you were to be the judge in this case, with the evidences and counter evidence available at your disposal so far, how would you judge this case?

What will be your final verdict?

Kindly add substantial reason and reference possibly.

Thanks as I wil like to read your intelligent response
as for me if I were the judge, I would look to through the evidence of discrepancy on polling unit forms submitted if I notice a large percentage of discrepancy that the electoral body cannot account for it's cause. 2 it was also claimed that there was not server crash by LP expert as a judge I would do an independent review if truly there was a server crash that allowed house of assembly elections to be uploaded on the same day that the presidential elections were held, if I can confirm that for a fact there was no server crash nationwide, as inec had claimed then my verdict on this is that the electoral body has been highly compromised, while it does not automatically indict tinubu, or vindicate obi or atiku, it is enough reason for me as a judge to annul the election. 3 if obi or atiku can prove that their vote were intentionally tampered with eg rivers state)/ opio akpor which even apc supporters have agreed on was rigged I would summon the polling agent or electoral officer and indict them for fraud and sentence them, a plea deal and immunity would be offered if they can coperate and indict who they worked for then they can go free if after all this and I see that the conspiracy goes really high, then of course they also will be on trial. For my final verdict for the election would have to be annulled, 2 if a paperwork review of the ctc forms and others presented by obi and atiku shows he won then I would declared him the winner. Otherwise the election would still be cancelled not necessarily because of apc but because inec was obviously compromised.

I love this, fair enough!

Reacting to your submission, I only have a bit disagreement with item 2;

Item 2, where you stated that you will annul the election for the inec's compromise, even without the ability to establish the fact that it was compromised by tinubu or apc, it's co respondents....anyway, I think it will be unfair to annul the whole election without establishing a case of compromise by Tinubu.
Moreso, there's an alternative way of transmitting the result which was the traditional manual conveyance, I think it's fair to settle for that, if they are reliable instead of allowing the laxity of inec (even if found wanting) to deny the declared winner his victory.

All in all, your judgemental opinion is fair

CONCISE ACCOUNT OF HOW IT ALL WENT DOWN.

I love this, fair enough!

Reacting to your submission, I only have a bit disagreement with item 2;

All in all, your judgemental opinion is fair
true but it has to be proven beyond doubt that it was just and fair.

Oh they certainly have a case of rigging and literally every Nigerian knows that including you lol

But it is very hard to prove because the rules favour the physical copies that were manipulated.

I’m an Obidient who thought LP had a good chance before the election but I’m now convinced APC could very well have won (on a second ballot) without rigging.

Thankfully APC’s thuggery now means that PBAT has a weak mandate and that’s a blessing to us all because the last president was given a strong mandate that made him arrogant in his incompetence.

God bless Nigeria ❤️
