I don't know where you people get this deluded belief of Southeast people migrating to Southwest. Why then is Southwest looking so backwards and less developed than Southeast at least on videos and droneshots I've been seeing online? Based on latest google earth density the emerging largest city in Nigeria presently is the Onitsha-Nnewi-Orlu-Owerri-Awka conglomerate. It is 2 times larger than Lagos and about 8 times larger than Port Harcourt.

Imbecility is when you want igbos to leave your region but want to hold on to oil and gas companies hq of Nige r delta, gross imbecility is when you want to politicize your oblongated view about igbos leaving your region without getting your people out of Niger delta oil companies

As a Nigerian, your land is any where in Nigeria. Which means you can aquire property anywhere in the country. Last I checked, property is gotten by a buyer and a willing seller. The seller does not sell, enjoy the proceeds and benefit of his sale and then turn around to claim his ex property. Heck, the fulanis that took land in oyo state, started kidnapping and maiming people, even the brave igboho went after them. What was the result? Fgn protected them, infact the army went after locals and flogged the hell out of them. Igboho had to run for dear life. Fulanis that did not pay a dime for the land.
If I may ask, what laws do you wish to be enacted? Igbo owned houses and busneses should be seized? Or Yorubas should buy their houses at current market price? They should also buy their businesses? Or they should pay 1k for a brt ride while Yorubas pay ₦100? Or igbos should pay 40% tax while Yorubas pay 10%? Let's hear your suggestion.

Simple, the SW can't eat it's cake and have it.

In.previous times..SW has.lobbied for ports, taxes of companies.domicilied in other regions to be paid to Lagos. If those advantages were not transfered to SW,A. would it have the money's to have whatever infrastructure some things are laying claims on.

The only infrastructure enjoyed by the public of other regions in the SW is the road. Simple and majority of these roads are federal roads. So, how has Lagos helped the average non SW indigenes is what continues to surprise me.

We don't use government hospitals

We don't stay in government owned estates

We pay our fares for state transport services we use once in a year

The majority of foods eaten in the SW isn't grown in the SW.

So, what do these Omoluabis mean

We are ready to leave SW yesterday, simple. Let's head for referendum so we can go home. We want to go so we keep our resources and taxes

Abi is Lagos or SW Developed by SW resources or money's ?

Sw should be ashamed of themselves. Imagine comparing yourselves to lgbos who lost everything during the civil war. That means we pursued and caught up with you even overtake you. When you look at ekiti, oshogbo, oyo, ogun, you begin to wonder why will these states be looking like war zones devoid of any economic activity.

No. We fought to keep you back in your red mud region.

Reno Imokri explains better:

Dear IPOB member

The Nigerian Civil War was initially between the Eastern Region and the Northern Region, although it was billed as a war between Biafra and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

That is why after Colonel Ojukwu declared the Republic of Biafra on May 30, 1967, the Federal Military Government initiated their 'police action' from Northern Nigeria, with Northern troops, on July 6, 1967, when Colonel Mohammed Shuwa attacked Biafra from present-day Kogi State, and took Nsukka on July 14, 1966. The other Southern Regions publicly declared neutrality.

However, despite their publicly stated stance, Colonel Ojukwu, rather than face the North, chose to attack the Midwest Region on August 9, 1967. After conquering the Midwest, and appointing an Igbo Governor named Major Albert Nwazu Okonkwo, the Biafrans subjected Midwesterners to brutal military rule and killed several Midwesterners they accused of being saboteurs, as well as looting the Central Bank of Nigeria in Benin.

People from my ethnicity, as well as Urhobos, Ijaws, Edos, and other ethnic nationalities in the then Midwest, were executed without trial by the invading Biafrans.

Not content with conquering the Midwest, they advanced into the Western Region, invading Ore, in present-day Ondo state, on August 14, 1967, killing many local residents.

That action forced the Western Region to become actively involved in the war, and many Yoruba officers and men of the Nigerian Army rallied to Ore to defend their region. The Nigerian Army has refused to disclose how many people died during the Battle of Ore, but it was a lot.

Even today, the Yoruba have a popular proverb, 'Oleku Ija Ore'.

So, dear IPOB member what would you expect us in the Midwest and the Western Region to do when Biafra invaded us? To start singing 'Carry Me Dey Go My Husband House in Biafra'?

We did not ask for war. It came to us, and we did the needful, and after Biafra's defeat on January 15, 1970, we forgave our invaders and accepted them back in our regions. And unlike what happened in Rivers state, we did not seize their property as abandoned property.

So, why accuse us of betrayal? Who should blame who?

Anyway, thanks again, and God bless.

Perhaps you have never left the SE region. There are south easterners in the nooks and crannies of the SW. They are busy fighting themselves to become Eze ndigbo from Akure to Ibadan. The ones in Ibadan to be fair mostly migrated many decades ago during the Biafrian war and have been yorubanized like my best friend Ndubuisi at OAU.

Everyone knows that the ONLY people in Nigeria the British fear in Nigeria is the Igbo tribe. This fear is heightened by our alignment with the English-speaking part of southern Cameroon that go by the name Ambazonia and hated by the French. So the Igbo people are facing so many enemies( Yoruba, Fulani, Hausa, other minority tribes in Nigeria due to FG propaganda and brainwashing, Britain, France and possibly US). The Igbo tribe still thrives even in the face of these obstacles.

Once the clarion call has been sounded, the Eastern people and the rest of the minorities that once constituted Biafra will coalesce and leave nigeria. Thankfully the Yoruba and Fulani are hastening that inevitable day by their continuous politics of exclusion.
