Tinubu be acting like someone who is on a borrowed time. Tinkering here and there at the same time. He knew he got in here through the wrong door..

Wonder why sane humans will be praising a regime that has so far brought increased hardship to Nigerians.

You and these analyst are IPOB, wailers and obidients. You hate Tinubu.

This is renewed hope.

This hardship will benefit me and my family.

Tinubu had smashed the ground running

What's their business?

Nigerians love suffering. So Tinubu is free to tighten the knot as much as he desires.

Forget it, he will never listen to anybody.

The FAVOUR and dividend of democracy will never come to us and our families if he keeps dishing out anti-people policies.

I have lost hope ALREADY in HIS GOVERNMENT, no hope in sight

It can only get worst

Too many anti-poor-electorate policies
Too early to loose hope. Nothing good comes easy. After 2 to 3 months, we can have clearer picture

This professor is giving a text book answer to treat the severe economic mess Buhari left behind.

You go the slow and gentle route, you'll simply embolden those against reforms to frustrate things, especially when the president eyes re-election.

Shock therapy is the best. Get everything over and done with quickly. Already, two of the most painful reforms have been carried out: removal of petrol subsidies and unification of the exchange rates.

More deregulation in prices are needed in the telecom and power sector. If those in these sectors can't recoup costs, they won't reinvestment. Government setting of rates there isn't the best but I can understand the GSM carriers have oligopolistic power and may abuse it and use it to fix prices illegally.

Cutting down the size of the civil service may prove politically risky now as it may push them and their sympathizers into voting for the opposition in 2027. The best they can do now is simply to prune it.

Upward review of minimum wage is supposed to come first as part of effects cushioning measures before raising price of fuel and hike in tarrifs.
Raising the price of fuel and going ahead to hike tarrifs to be paid by many impoverished Nigerians and 30k salary earners could be likened to putting a cart before a horse.

If you don't implement propaganda in haste, it might just get cold. That is why he has been in haste to implement multiple policies on top of each other, when the first is still yet to take the necessary effect.

He has to work in haste to divert attention from the election suit, and appear like he is the right man for the job.

Unfortunately, he has only shot himself by the foot. undecided angry tongue

Zimbabwe. They are stuck there

US, UK, Canada etc. Those countries your leaders love to visit. They did not deliberately impoverish their citizens just to "prosper"

A Zombie on the beat has been spotted.Has the increments in levies and taxes he introduced in Lagos since 1999 reduced till date? Just look at what a full grown zombie is saying without shame online.
What economic indices gives you the impression that prices will come down by 2025? I suppose it's the usual zombie way of let me support anything he does since he's from my tribe. I am fully ready for zombies now because Tinubu has destroyed my purchasing power personally because of his ill thought out policies.
