ALARMING‼️

Immediate action required to address reported oil spillage in Eleme/Ogu Communities in Rivers State resulting from Shell Trans Niger Pipeline!

Despite the gravity of this spillage and the environmental disaster it poses

Calls to Shell by community members have remained unanswered💔

We are calling on @Shell to take immediate action to mitigate the devastating impacts this spill is having on the ecosystem, health, and livelihood of affected communities.

We are also calling on the Federal Government of Nigeria @NigeriaGov to review and strengthen existing regulations related to oil spill prevention, response, and liability. Implement stricter measures to hold responsible parties accountable👇

For their actions and deter future occurrence of such incidents✊

The people of Eleme/Ogu deserve better!

The people of Niger delta are really trying .

Their land, water and air is polluted,yet nothing to show for it.

These guys keep on giving to Nigeria,yet some microscopic few are the one stealing and controlling the oil sector. Every now and then you hear politicians saying we will start the cleaning up of Niger delta,but all na wash.

The spirit of Ken Saro Wiwa will be turning in his grave. 28years after his death nothing has been done.

One will think it's issues like this that Asari Dokubo should be addressing,but his eyes is on the bag"contract".

Our leaders have no conscience.

It's called psychic impairment. They are conditioned to think 'other people' are their problem until they completely lose their habitat.

Whenever any of their sons rise to demand accountability, the Northerners and southwest will use Igbophobia as a temporary "pain relief" and some payments to buy them off. Later on, they will be wasted for daring to challenge them. It has happened to saro wiwa. It has happened to adaka Boro. Asari dokubo is the next in line. He has been threatening Igbos lately to justify his allegiance to their oppressors and their people have kept quiet.

So called Niger deltans should understand that the world is a jungle and if they fail to rise, they will continue destroying their land until they have to place to call their own. It's that cruel!

People of southern Cameroon once tried to seek relief in anti Igbo paranoia. Today, they have learnt their lessons and no one told them to rise against their oppressors.

The water is already unfit for humans, plants and aquatic animals. The soil isn't left out of this mess, I wonder how people survive in this clime as genes might have already been altered embarassed
