he surely deserves a car from us all. he has taught me and many other people history of the Yoruba people from his many roles in the film industry.

those who can help should rally round the man now while he is able and kicking.

These yoruba male actors go to hotels, use the hotels services and when it's time to pay, they start to claim they are veteran artists.

Yet they know well enough, the money for thay service will be deducted from the staff on duty.

Maybe this Is a pointer that Alapini should always ensure to pay his bills before checking out of hotels

No matter how much you get be calming down and pray you don't face terrible sickness.
The most painful thing that will ever happen to any human being is to start from zero again when you have once arrived, i can relate it is not funny.

If he was in dire need of health support or survival that may be a little less shameful. I can understand putting your manhood on the line.

But how can one make demands such as.. I mean so his necessity now is to drive a car. Car na luxury most cannot afford, shey you sabi.

Don't misunderstand me I am an advocate of "if you are sick or having serious issues better tok let us help you" but this car mata get as it be, how is it a necessity for an old man. Are there no other means of transport for him or can't he utilise other options.

He has to fuel this car, do you know how much this will cost him, does he really need a car? why not someone find out what is wrong with him, and decide if a car is the best thing for him, people can barely feed yet they manage themselves. I am sure this man has touched some good money in life. I won't say more than this.

In conclusion I am sure the man may need help but a car may be an Alaaye scheme, hunger is literally killing peeps everyday. Make the old man rest for house abeg.

Someone talked about how their films were pirated and we bought it for stipend then, do these guys criticizing the old man know how much Netflix pays the actors and other endorsements etc? These old naija actors earn next to nothing especially the male folks. I wish I were the president I will make sure I bless all of them with houses, cars and money, both the Yoruba and Igbo actors cos they made our childhood very happy for us.

Such a fallacious mode of reasoning.

I hope you would also apply same treatment to all the musicians who made our childhood memorable.

Same treatment should also be accorded all the footballer who made our childhood memorable.

Clap yourself you have done a great job as a president entrusted with the resources of the masses for the betterment and progress of the society. You have solved the problem of infrastructure and poverty alleviate in a nutshell with our hard earned tax payers money.

This is how a 21st century brain is reasons, it is no surprise why we are still a shit dump of a country spits!

I am not in support of his request, but the son's demise is not a recent event. Even if it was, he needs to slowly get back on his feet and live his life. Getting back a car that he sold while attempting to save the son's life seems to be in line.

Thank you for all these folks do for our veterans. My plan with my foundation IDAGBA Empowerment Foundation is to support our people and our veterans some day. We are still 1yr old, but very soon God willing, we will make our own impact. We must promote our culture, and you all made my childhood amazing in spite of many life challenges I had to deal with.

So far, we are doing our parts with Orphanages, renovating classroom block and plan to do another renovation of a Chemistry Lab this summer. If you would like to support us, email is idagbaempowermentfoundation@gmail.com. We have also supported people on Nairaland with getting jobs, rent and pay some small loans. It is only God. We all must learn the act of giving ...stated explicitly in all of our religions...even Yoruba ones believe in Sacrifices, doing favor to call in favors...las las everything we strive for is all vanity. Who will take over the houses and cars...no one knows. We assume it will be our children...but look around you, some people's properties became problems thereafter for those left behind. Some are even abandoned because children have JAPA.
