I watched season one of Breaking Bad. I hated it but I hung on to it because of its glowing reviews from critics and friends.
I watched season two but still didn't like it. I proceeded to season three because many people regarded it as one of the greatest TV show ever made. That was how I watched it till the end hoping I will eventually like it; I never did. Today, if a series fails to fascinate me early, I quit without hesitation.

I had to rewatch that part in episode 10 again because I didn't notice the reflection on the glass at first. It's indeed not Tabitha's reflection that appeared on that hospital window. It was another lady's reflection with a sad face. This discovery has now left me with more questions than answers!

It's one of the most useless series I've seen. I regret every second I wasted on that train wreck garbage.

Exactly bro. Right now, I don't mind being that one bad apple out of the others. If show no move, me I go. I have never tried watching Ted Lasso or The wire. I watched only half the first season of Blacklist before dumping it

Exactly. There are too many contents and not enough time to waste your time and energy on something you don't like. I learnt that the hard way.

Henry Cavill's Back must hurt from carrying this!

Maan. This season is kind off. It's season 3 and it still look like a preamble, i mean there are eight books of rich material to explore, except they are planning to to stretch this to six seasons, i don't see the need for the big tease.

The part with Henry Cavill/Geralt are the best parts as these mfs haven't given me enough reason to care about other characters, like at this point I don't care about ciri and Yen talk less of other minor characters. I don't even know what they are smoking in the writers room, it's like everybody is just throwing everything to see which one sticks, each episode looks like a different show. They are misused the creative liberties given to them by the source material. They just veered off and change little details that defined each character like Jaskier been Queer, like where did that come from, because him be heterosexual is central to his character narrative in the books. People think Geralt and him killing monsters is the entire facet of the book and it's wrong, if fact there are many chapters where he's not the POV, and the book gives enough armour to other characters to make things interesting, infact, my memory of the books are foggy at this point, but i think the Human Species are the dominant and the monsters are even going extinct, so not much for Geralt to do.

In all this, it's Henry Cavill i pity, He's the very bane holding this show together, Netflix not doing enough to keep him is beyond me. This man has the craziest talent ID/built that is so in sync with CBM and fantasy lead i have seen in years and yet he's been kicked out of being  Geralt of Rivia and Clark Kent due to circumstances out of his direct making within a year?? common on!. These two roles are so primed for his Talent ID, so either he has charlatans representing him or he has the dumbest luck ever... it's so so uncanny.

I will see the part 2 to conclude his chapter as Geralt of Rivia, but I won't be showing up for whatever Netflix is cooking with Liam Hemsworth because if Henry Cavill who is actually a fan of the books and game and totally gets it, is leaving for "creative differences", then that tells you all you need to know.

i don't want to sound demeaning, but when last was Liam in anything worthwhile? He's basically riding on the tax of being Chris Hemsworth little bro and been married to Miley Cyrus Husband at one time.... Caustic!

YouTube has been making money for itself and creators for years without the platform been broken or unrecognizable. Musk takeover is barely a year, and he has fired actual project designers and UI/UX guys that actually know how to make the app work, and he's tinkered with just about everything. I read the novels after watching the second season and my interest in the series dropped. There's just no way Netflix is matching the novel. They're not even trying. The books are detailed, grounded and very very brutal and the show is just none of these things.


For me, apart from Henry Cavill (Geralt), Only Jodhi May (Queen Calanthe) delivered something close to their character's book version.

Hollywood directors can't just seem to follow source materials accurately, they always want to give their own spin to stories...

They just take the premise and keep going however they want.

While I understand that an adaptation doesn't have to be 1-1...it should at least follow the core story and events accurately. But these Hollywood directors are too proud to do this...

The reality is that they cannot know the Characters and the world more than the original author...

I heard The Witcher books are pretty grounded...so it isn't hard to adapt...but instead they chose to give it their own spin...

An adaptation should respect the source material...instead, because of pride, they chose to do the opposite

It might work in superhero stories because those ones are treated as separate entities and can be adapted anyhow...
But it won't work for clear cut and concise stories like The Witcher.

It just ends up in ruin

If she truly believed that the outside was okay before she left then why ask for the badge to confirm a suspicion she never had until that final moment?

Holston and Allison are not 100% dead yet, their bodies as seen from the cafeteria if fake coz there are no bodies on the outside from Jules POV both from the green scenery and the desolate wasteland there was no bodies while in the cafeteria those fake bodies has been in that same exact position for a couple of years on end. That cafeteria view doesn't paint the whole picture at the very least concerning the supposed bodies.

3. What if the heat tape wasn't for the air outside but for the gas on the way out as someone suggested somewhere above? At least we can both agree that being bombarded with gas in an enclosed chamber makes absolutely no sense for someone who was born in the Silo going out for the first time? Assuming the Judiciary is to be believed and the air outside is truly toxic then the gas should be for someone coming into the silo from the outside as a means to sterilize any form of toxic waste they might bring into the silo not for someone venturing outside.

The gas along with the shitty heat tape might just be the thing. The second season might just prove so if Jules runs out of air before reaching the next Silo and forced to take off her helmet although seeing as how the various Silo's were built close to one another she will probably make it to the next one in time, the only question that remains is why should they let her in. The decision might be out of the hands of whoever is in charge of the next Silo she ends up on, If the citizens of that Silo starts to demand for answers regarding the mysterious woman showing up on their screens from the outside.

Although its quite clear that she wont be killed off seeing as how she is the MC and the seires is dead without her. She might even return to her Silo at some point through the underground network of tunnels running through the Silo's in the coming seasons.

All in all a solid first season, definitely 9.8/10
