Another thing, I don't even know the relationship between them, if it's just a pastor-member friendship or there's more. Reminds me of the person that wrote 'It's Well With My Soul' one of the tragic story I've ever heard...

Alas ! It's the bitter truth.

Too callous and inexperienced of the church leadership to let him officiate the funeral of somebody he has so much emotions for.

Young ministers must be allowed to pass through processes like you find in the orthodox churches. Many preachers in the new generational churches cannot handle and accept pain. They only want miracles, prosperity and healing. Many don’t attend funerals.

Death, pain, illnesses and unanswered prayers are also part of life and a good minister must have experiences in these to be able to be well grounded.

There are suggestions that she was his cousin. If the allegations of suicide are true then where did all the preaching go? Where is the doctrine of sanctity of life? So it's easy to tell others to heal but not for MoG?

Who knows? They might have been soulmates. He was so emotionally destabilized. May God rest their souls.

You will be alright. We have been there before and thought we couldn't pull through, but we did.

I still weep for the deceased after years of demise, but still find the strength to carry on because life must go on. Just be strong for yourself.

You're right. It's the one of most difficult thing I've ever had to deal with.

The day I was called that my sister died, I nearly went into shock. Someone so young, vibrant and healthy. Life's a mystery.
