If you watch this full 14 minutes interview and still believe the girl really got 362, I don't know what to say to you. The evidence of forgery is very clear. What I will say is that, the girl didn't carry out this act by herself.

Chineye Umeh, the highest Jamb scorer for 2023 who score 360 is also from Anambra.

Proper reasoning is very difficult for some people. Someone scored 249 and fraudulently claimed 362, and got N3million scholarship from Innoson motors, while the highest scorers is going about unnoticed. If you are in Chineye shoes, will you be happy?

Jamb was too hasty in their decision. Why not go through her script oncemore, or better still set a fresh questions for her before coming up with a penalty. Who says jamb can't make mistakes.

I don’t know that this girl is innocent or guilty.

I do know that JAMB as an institution has been dubious over this matter.

1. Did she mutilate a result from 2021 or from 2023?
2. Why has Jamb not come out to show the original result attached to the QR code she allegedly forgot to change?
3. Why has Jamb not shown us her original result as it is on their server?
4. How do you unilaterally withdraw her result and ban her from the exam for 3 years without actually proving she did anything wrong? A press release and a TV interview is not proof of wrongdoing.

I expect a public institution to conduct itself in a manner that speaks to equity and fairness. In this, Jamb has failed to act in that manner and it then calls to question the position they have taken on this matter

The crude and uncouth way the JAMB registrar went about the whole thing is really unprofessional knowing fully well he's dealing with a 16yrs old. Something is not right about this whole thing.

Jamb can manipulate evidence to it's favor and put the poor girl in a disadvantaged position. It won't be easy for her to win jamb on this!

In secondary school what is the punishment for mere cheating in an exam?

It's unfortunate that most people have turned this into politics, a continuation of the just concluded general elections between the Igbos and the rest of Nigeria.. I listened to the girl's father saying the girl has been a very brilliant student, taking 1st position from her nursery school days to Secondary school. I want to let them know that it's not always the case, many bright students couldn't score up to 220 in jamb, for the girl to score above 230(real score) shows she's a brilliant student. Secondly, her father talked about jamb trying to take the scholarship from their daughter. Jamb does not give scholarship and jamb is not interested in who gives you scholarship. My advice to her parents is to work with jamb and the police to find out the whole truth, it could be an error from jamb system or the girl manipulated her result due to pressure from her parents expecting very high score.

The story about her coming tops frm nursery school to be is psychological bullshit.
Jamb and waec at least of those days are 2 different ball games.

Jamb exam has always been a more mentally tasking exam. It's not like waec.

Again if u do a poll u will find out that the first 100 people by scores are all brilliant students who have been coming out tops in their exams.

Inshore, anyone in the top 30 in jamb cud have been first. Just circumstances

I heard her say jamb has made her traumatised.
If ur a student of psychology u will take note of how well planned her speech was and its aim.
To elicit public empathy.

If only INEC can defend their results like this I will just keep quiet and be praying for Nigeria until the end of Tinubu's tenure. As for this fraudulent girl, JAMB should consider legal prosecution so all the culprits involved can face the law.

Jamb are not competent, we all have direct or indirect experiences of how jamb portal can be,in 2007 i got 3 different jamb score, before my result become stable to 201 then. At a point my score was 217 & 220...
