You've gotten MIUI 14??

BTW I'm not really interested in Android updates. it's the MIUI updates that tempt me..
In my former Redmi phones, my battery life decreased with each update and I lost some features which I really loved to have.

MIUI updates tell me every feature I should be expecting, unlike Android updates.
So it's easier for me to know if it's worth staking my battery life
Okay... Well on Android 12 and 13 you won't have the SOT chart in the battery usage information. This is one thing I had during the days of Android 11. I discovered a slight decrease in battery life when I updated to android 12, but that has been corrected in the Android 13 update. Now I'm on Android 13 MIUI 14 and it's cool. The only disadvantage is that I can no longer copy hacked or modded games files into Android/Obb or Data. Google put a struck restriction on Android 13.

You may think the network is a minor issue until one day.

Network is something I've already sacrifices on a lot of my phones... It's not a minor issues, but I can live with it. If I can get twice the storage and more ram as a gamer, network (when there is wife, sha) is something I can sacrifice

The thing worrying me the most is issues with the warranty/customer service or inability to access some important apps.

If you are buying a phone not released in your domain you should know that you have no business with warranty and customer service.

In this case it applies to both the Turbo and the F5

I was surprised how you were able to move file to obb with A13 as you previously quoted me on this same problem. Being a tech guy moving files to obb and data has been a regular thing for me not until I updated to A13, I have tried different explorers none is working, though I haven't tried it with a Rooted phone maybe it might work. Honestly, I am not enjoying this A13 the privacy and security are too rigid

Thanks a lot for the reply.
I'll update mine.
Which spectacular feature(s) does MIUI 14 offer in the stable version?

Well I've not really explored the features as I concerned myself with browsing and gaming basically, but the material you concept is more pronounced on the android 13, and the MIUI 14 let's you resize folders on the desktop, the icons look a bit more matured and techy if you're using the default theme, the settings icon are well laid out so that you don't have to cut through corners that much. Like I said earlier, I do more of gaming and browsing so I don't know of other features yet.

You've even gone all the way to Android 14. Why do I feel like Google is trying to make android become like iPhone?

please I am bout buying a redmi note 10 pro the guy said I need to go install a base band for the SIM to work. It uses wifi only for now. Should I be too worried or is it not a big deal.
Everything works aside the seeing sim.

Don't be decieved by Xiaomi gimmicks, Because it is a newer model and it's cheaper does not mean it is worth the upgrade, stop for one second and compare both specs, note 11s comes with a amoled display and the 12s comes with LCD,that should tell you the crazy difference in cost of production.
every redmi follower knows this, since the redmi note 10 series, there has never been a worthy upgrade to the follow up series.
The redmi note 12 series should appeal to new users joining the Xiaomi eco system,or a old user whose phone had issues.
But if you are thinking of buying the Xiaomi redmi note 12 as a upgrade to your redmi note 11.dont bother.its not worth it.

I'm a Mi 9t user looking to upgrade. Please would you recommend the 11s or the 12s for me? Mi 9t has Amoled display.

Hello everyone.

Please I've noticed my RN12Pro front camera takes much better pictures than the back camera... Which is rather strange

Using gcam though, just wondering if there's some kind of setting I can use to optimise the back camera to match the front.. grin

Use computer to access Obb data,
Data is not accessible via any file manager.

Maybe that particular gcam prioritizes the selfie cam
