Obifools are allover the thread celebrating already. It is this your gragra nature that always end in humiliation for you guys.

Bamidele didn't say anything different from what had been said before as far as the forfeiture case is concerned.

Neither Tinubu nor any of his associates has ever denied that the forfeiture was for drug related case before. The point is he was never convicted for drug or any criminal offence in the USA. The forfeited money was traced to some third party who were convicted of drug trafficking offences. Whether he was directly or indirectly involved in drug trafficking is nothing but mere conjecture since no single evidence to prove that he was charged to court or convicted of drug related offence.

So, don't be too excited about this, because:
1. He was never convicted by a US court

2. The incident happened some thirty years ago (the constitution says not more than ten years)

3. He was never found guilty of any criminal offence by any Nigerian court and has no forfeiture case in Nigeria.

So you mean after serving ten years behind bar, a criminal is no longer an ex-convict, who can't vie for any political position? Agbadolaws

Case solved!
So the forfeited 460,000USD was for Kuli-Kuli or Puff-Puff?

Because he openly admitted it was for Narcotics...

If they was a forfeiture it means he pleaded guilty and went for a plea bargain that involved him forfeiting the $460,000 drug money, in exchange for no sentences in prison. Which was a better deal for the state.

Forfeiture of illegal money from drugs is is the same as found guilty of criminal offence. It does not necessarily mean that anyone found guilty of an offence goes to prison.

I swear any court that even entertain this $460k issue in their court should shut down because the allegation is so stupid and useless.

US knows better in judiciary more than Nigeria infact Nigeria don't know judiciary at all to have the audacity to be challenging already closed case in US so many years back it's an insult on US to be honest and I don't see any reason why this useless shit should be an evidence in election petition.

I know those curse headless mobs will rush here on my post I give no shit because US are not dumb and can never let any wanted person go just like that so if you all like kill yourselves because of this shit nada no dey happen anywhere Tinubu go rule for 8 years.

They have passed denial mode. They are now in reality mode. Even a one year old baby girl knows that Mr Tinubu is a documented drug baron.

I'm patiently waiting for how the corrupt judges will use technicalities to help Tinubu.

10yrs after serving a conviction, you are allowed to aspire to any post, not 10yrs behind bars.
If someone is sentenced to 20yrs imprisonment, the 10yrs counts from the day he was released, he can thereafter contest, however, if such was granted a presidential pardon, the conviction will be erased and he can contest immediately

That argument stands to reason. Just that its unfortunate that our academic system is quite bad that some people dont understand difference between convict and suspect

From onset, most of us know that #OBIDATTI claim on this is not going to stand the test of time. Anyway, what do I know self?

What if as an accountant you have clients abroad who for years sent money to your business account in Nigeria, so they could have some savings in Nigeria and you never cared to ask them the source of their funds?

Remember, Tinubu was a Treasurer in Mobil at that time but he had contacts and diaspora clients in U.S and London.

He agreed that the forfeiture is narcotic related case.

This iss the part the Media trying to hide from his witness statement.

Asking same question everyday..

Tinubu had a civil forfeiture and not a criminal forfeiture. This was why he wasn't charged nor indicted for any crime or drug related crime!

The forfeited money doesn't belong to him in anyway! Like the witness stated, tinubu was never indicted nor charged cuz his forfeiture was a civil one

It doesn't matter. Narcotics related money entered his account but his defense was that he only received money from a client living in America. Judges could not prove whether or not was involved in the Narcotics. If the American judges couldn't prove that, how should our courts go about proving that?

Lol, some are just attaching emotions to the case.
Their justice system isn't the same with ours.
Here, every forfeiture points to a criminal indictment, there, you can forfeit without an indictment. For a criminal suit to be charged against you, you must be indicted.
They don't do all there 100counts charge on each of about 20 individuals that we are used to here

Abi? What are they supposed to do? After IRS investigations, he wasn’t guilty of anything regarding the money! The next is to forfeit it civil-ly!

But, had it been, after the investigation, he was guilty & involved in whatever brought the money into his account, it would have been a criminal forfeiture! In such case, tinubu would forfeit the money and then get indicted - he would have gone to jail!

Nothing hard fought in the court case, only the election was hard fought.
The court case is nothing to write home about, none of them is contesting the election, all presenting irrelevances.
I was even expecting to see how the election was manipulated, this will give insight into the possible lapses. Agents should come out with copies given to them where as a different one was announced, but none is doing that.
