Please has anyone experienced high blood pressure after delivery, my baby will be 3months tomorrow. Now, I am getting worried and its weighing me down. At the sight of BP monitor I get extremely scared.

Some people say there is pregnancy induce but its goes after 6weeks of delivery. I went through some trauma after delivery because my tear was lose I had to go back to the hospital like twice to be done again.
These whole thing is driving me crazy.

God please come through for me

Be serious with your routine drugs, intake of water, fruits and vegetables.

If you have not registered for antenatal, I think is time to do that....I have registered and I'm enjoying the class. Your first dose of TT needs to be taken now. Talk to your doctor or midwife if you notice anything that is not right with your body.

Update us with your baby's gender if you have checked.

It happened to mine too , I kept on drinking unripe papaya water as I am breastfeeding. Also wiped regularly with clean cotton wool dipped in clean water. It eventually stopped before 6 weeks.

Sorry about this But you need to treat as urgent, try to see Dr preferably in a government hospital so the cause can be identified early. It is well with your baby.

My friend is in her 3rd trimester and yesterday she went to hospital to complain of headache and she was given zinnat and amatem softgel the 24 tablet. She's scared it will harm her baby because this is her first and she has been ttcing for long. I told her I will help her ask my nairaland family. Please doctors and midwives here, is it safe to take these 2 drugs?

Sorry to hear about this. Is it persistent (maybe due to lack of oxygen to the brain)?Did you experience prolong labor with his birth? In the meantime, if it is persistent, I will suggest you visit the federal neurological hospital around Oshodi.

Please register at the Cardiology clinic to begin treatment.
It's nothing to be afraid for and will most likely ease back before you know it but you can't just leave it.
Rest well
Eat healthy
Exercise
And monitor your bp daily

Don't be afraid
High blood pressure isn't a death sentence, it's a symptom that something is off so fix the thing and you'd be good.🥰
