im of the opinions that every child is capable of anything, i know what myself and others did when we were young but thats it not the point.... our job as elders is to protect the young ones even when they misbehave not throwing them to the wolves.. the girl could have been discipline in a better way by jamb instead of dragging her publicly thereby making the girl even lie more( the girl is young for god sake and almost every young people behave carelessly and even dangerous when cornered)....there is different between discipline and punishement and we should be careful how we use either... our job is to nurture our future by careful plannings....

This is another problem with you Nigerians: whataboutism. Just because someone allegedly got away with a crime doesn't mean anyone can commit same without punishment.

Jamb has the discretion to enforce its policies, while the government law enforcement can also ensure justice is done to criminals.

This girl had ample opportunities to come clean, but instead she spent days perpetuating her criminal act, and you want her to get a mere slap of the wrist? What would then deter someone else from forging their scores if we're so sympathetic to criminals? They'd say the risk is well worth it

Laws exist to punish and deter without sympathy and that is what should apply here.

You're right. Fraudsters randomly sending out unsolicited e-mails are generally not clever at all. Majority of the e-mails contain unpardonable errors which expose them. This saga might as well be similar.
