If you are moving to Lagos, has minimum qualification like the SSCE, Learn how to cook very well!
here are a few skills that can help you cope in Lagos state
Welding
Carpentry
Cooking
Fashion Design

Remember there are still a good number of well paying jobs for SSCE Holders in Lagos state

I don’t think you should learn one. Most of the men I worked with were multi-faceted. “Jack of all trades, master of none” is parroted by theory-trained people. It doesn’t apply to manual workers.

Learn one or all; welding, spray painting, carpentry, plumbing and electrical work. I would say you should learn to fix generators, but how man wan start? Being a mechanic is also a route. There are too many hateful individuals you’d have to contend with on the daily in such environment.

If you're above 27 years you can't get a good paying job in Lagos. For you to make it in Lagos go and learn IT skills. Coding, Data analysis, Data science, affiliate marketing and many more.
If you don't mind doing a low level job of welding, mechanic, plumbing, painting, construction, laundry, cooking, driving, cleaning and many more you will cash out too but you won't mind the insults and abuse that comes from doing them.

If you want a good environment, less stress, have peace of mind, low cost of living and from the little proceeds you earn you can save more then I will advise you to stay wherever you are.

Lagos spendings is too much that you rarely get much to save from your earnings.
