Can i go to Abuja to pick up myself ? If I pay for courier how will they know I have made payment because it is only the account number that is on their website. Good morning all

My 2 kids and i were denied visit visa to see my spouse who is currently a student in canada .i ordered my gcms note and saw we were denied majorly on:

1. that my registered business was inactive on the cac online platform and so they doubt if iam am into business .

I contacted CAC and the issue has been fixed .my company is active on CAC platform

Now.,i want to know if i should reapply for visit visa or apply for sowp .was told sowp is better because it will help enable me work to support my wife and kids during our stay

Please gurus in house..kindly advise

Sorry about your denial, and thanks for sharing the information here so that others can learn. I also used my business, I checked CAC website now and discovered its inactive and I have already applied for my visa, using the company. I don't know how to file my annual returns to CAC.

Please can you share the process to reactivate it. I know there must be some fees involve, how much did you pay.

We used Egypt air(which I will advise no one should use ever again) very terrible airline

Landed 15th of July

I scanned our passport and filled declarion form( where you’ll be asked if you have more than CAD10,000 or fish, chicken and all that)
Then I got a print out to take to the next stage

There’s another queue( don’t know what that is) the person didn’t really ask any question, she was just playing with my baby


Questions asked at immigration :
1. asked for my documents
2. Which company : I told him it’s SOWP
3. Which school is my husband in?
4. Which course?
5. His address. I wasn’t sure he asked me to check which I did

Then he asked me to sit for a while. He called me to pick up my permit with my daughter’s about 15-20 minutes later.

Then I went to pick up my luggages and that’s all

Good day everyone

We applied for visa, family of 3 , study route, work permit. Visa approved to the Parent but Sons medical result is yet to be reviewed. Medical has been done and uploaded since May 16, 2023. We have raised a webform and yet no response from them

Please what else can be done again or what could be the problem

Anyone submitted application June and still no response. I did mine since June and profile only shows submitted. It was updated June 14th and nothing again. Wetin dey happen

Finally its PPR guys,

Glory be to God!

1 SOWP, 2 Study Permits and 1 VV.

PPRs for the 2 Study Permits took 6 weeks from submission date while PPRs for WP and VV dropped a week later.

Kudos to you gurus, for the responses and guidance.
