Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Cashmadam: 11:26am On Jul 15, 2023 |
foley24: 1. 6 months statement of account 2. If you are employed, Letter from your employer + all documents relating to your employment (6 months payslips, offer letter, promotion letters, salary increase letter, confirmation letter, ID card) 3. If you are self employed, CAC documents, 6 months statement of your business, evidence of what you do, tax clearance (if you have it, If not, don't worry) + 6 months statement of your personal account 4. If you are married, marriage certificate and data page of your spouse's passport 5. If you have children, their birth certificates and data page of their passports 6. If you have assets (e.g land, house), documents of the assets 7. If you have investments (e.g stock) , documents of the investments I don't claim to be an expert. I'm employed and my husband is self employed. I listed what we have used for years. Let me know if you need more clarification. Good luck! 4 Likes 1 Share |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by foley24: 3:18pm On Jul 15, 2023 |
Cashmadam:Thanks for this. She’s retired. Her income is mostly from my self and sister. You mentioned something about social group as home tie after I posted the refusal letter. Do you have a sample for that please ? Her marriage certificate was issued by a mosque. Can that be used ? I’m the sponsor for the trip.

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Cashmadam: 3:26pm On Jul 15, 2023 |
foley24: If retired, please provide documents to prove that. If she is paid pension, provide documents to prove how much she is paid and when. The pension she is paid should reflect in her account statement. Income received from her children should be consistent and will reflect in her account statement. Social group may be in her Mosque. She can also belong to an old student association etc. Mention any of these if she is very active or has a leadership role - e.g President of Old student association. Submit any document you have to prove her maritial status. |

foley24: If she has parents or grandchildren she takes care of, mention and prove it. Does she do any petty business? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Cashmadam: 3:45pm On Jul 15, 2023 |
foley24: As her sponsor, provide 6 months statement of account, data page of your international passport and your birth certificate. You can add pictures (not compulsory) If it makes you feel better, add a cover letter to explain everything in a very simple way - why she wants to travel, what she does and why you are sponsoring her. |

Good day all, I am in Nigeria with my wife and two kids. My wife is about getting a job in one of the African countries. What kind of visa will be given to her? What is the possibility of myself and the kids joining her? Can we travel on the same day as she is afraid of going alone? Am I permitted to work in the new country as well? Please, tell me any other thing I need to know before she signs the appointment letter? |

I want to fund my younger sisters account for UK visa, her salary is about 120k which she spend almost everything every month, what can we say is the source of the extra fund in her account? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by thelma76(f): 5:41pm On Jul 15, 2023 |
AbdulAkpan: I think she should request a quick chat with the HR officer. If they can’t answer these questions easily, then there’s a problem Also it should be clearly stated in the terms and conditions of the contract what applies to dependents in terms of work visa sponsorship/relocation costs etc otherwise they’re playing and she should not sign. |

abuhaneefah29: Sorry I’ve been offline for a while now. Just seeing your messages. I didn’t use £1 for my mum. I used “1,500,000” as money she planned towards her trip, even though I was the one fully sponsoring her. Because I had already sent her “500,000” and described it on her bank statement as “part-payment for her flight ticket”. For your second question, I used £4000 there as what I’ll be sponsoring her with. |

No you don't , it's biometrics and submission of your passport that you are going for. It's the people that paid for assisted service that will go with docs quote author=queenfav post=124429615]Good morning all,pls after submitting UK visit visa supporting documents online,do you still need to go with your original copies of the submitted documents for sighting at the interview or photocopies will suffice?[/quote] |

Your comment is unnecessary. She's decided to ascribe the visa issuance to God, so let her be and express her faith. You can decide what to do with your own processes and outcomes. Can we just learn to be tolerant of others' views and beliefs? I have a handful of American and British colleagues who barely require visa to travel around world and don't see anything spiritual in travelling but they still respect the disposition of those who feel otherwise. Your perspective isn't everyone's reality. Just learn to honour others'. Nanorest: 11 Likes |

It is a big deal . It may not be to you but don't disregard someone else's belief . She can decide to involve God in her affairs if she chooses to. Nanorest: 3 Likes |

Can a dependant(husband) use the statement of account of the sponsored migrant(wife) as proof of maintenance funds during visa application? (Wife is already in the UK). I’d like to be sure. Thanks in anticipation of your response |
