This final address is mentally stimulating. There is a reason why Wole Olanipekun is the best lawyer in Nigeria when it comes to election matters.

That man is brilliant! The address tackled the petition from every angle possible: etymologically, logically and legally. The address, even for the case of argument, assumed some of the petitioners' arguments and still contests the legally and the logicality of those arguments.

Mehn , people are good in this country. I hope LP's lawyers will impress me too.

Idiot. He is one of the dullest lawyers in Nigeria. Wole only bribes judges to win cases. Yorubas and mouth-making.

PITOBI IS OBIDIENTLY SECRETLY LABOURING FOR APC. you people are just wasting your time abt naija court case. All na game plan and script. PITOBI don catch out big time on IGBOBIDIOTS/BIAFRAUDSTERS. una no get sense because d lawyers belong to the same BAR ASSOCIATION, if u think sey na by big big grammer or clever na en lawyers dey take win case, na lie. Them already knw who them go give winning to...them dey even call each other on phone dey relate the case and how to cashout because they are all colleagues.

Obi team failed to show how results were manipulated.obi team brought nothing on FCT since they know they won't benefit

Ode! You dont bring anything on the FCT issue . It's a constitutional matter left for the court to interpret. That's why the respondents had to address it by trying to persuade the court to interpret it in their own favor.

Meanwhile, havent you noticed that INEC have been increasing tinubu's FCT votes on the IREV?

Surprisingly, APC in their defense show that FCT is not to be treated as a state of the federation and on the same hand not superior to any state of the federation but failed to oppose where it was mentioned in the constitution that a candidate must get 25% in 2/3 of the 36 states AND FCT.
They also said that FCT has no Governor and other things that the states have, the President and the Law makers oversee the affairs in the FCT and this means that the only way FCT dwellers can contribute on who governs them is through their ballot of which 1/4th must be in support of whoever that's going to emerge.

Do FCT residents vote for the NASS members who make law for them except their one Senator? Why must a President win 25% before he governs them? Why not outright win ? Giving FCT a veto over d rest of us is meaningless, was never d intention of the constitution neither is it in d letter if d constitution. Struck out

The law has specified how a gov is to emerge in my state. The law has also specified that FCT residents won't determine on their own who governs them as president and lawmakers. Saying that d president nuts win 25% to govern FCT is hogwash and unconstitutional. If u argue that since d Governor of a state must win a state to govern them, then why argue d president must score 25% to govern FCT? Why not argue for him to get majority votes in FCT? Guy this thing won't fly, FCT has no veto over d rest of us, the case would be flung out

A few yrs ago, N1m per appearance, esp in Election cases.

Damian Dodo was the man that brought Uzodinma from the dead (I am sure that's why you like him...lol).

Daudu, I think ka from Kogi. He was former NBA President (Baba no get loyalty).

Falana is more of an activist!
The rest are entrenched APC.

I need him to lose it.
Abia C has had enough and we don't know what they use it for...doesn't reflect.

Emenike is Pro-Chancellor, UNN (don't know if he resigned before he contested)..

His wife has been an Ambassador since 2015 and is now Nigeria's Ambassador to the US after the death of Justice Sylvanus Nsofor JCA rtd So, it can't be only him!

Brilliant submission in all by Tinubu’s legal team. The petitioners watery case will be thrown out with heavy fine handed down for wasting the court’s time.

Is so obvious you didn't take your time to go thru the defence but quick to rush and type rubbish. If this is APC defense, then there is going to be rerun. The 25% FCT is so glaring.

Don’t forget that the petitioners didn’t make efforts to convince the court about the result manipulations in Rivers, Benue, Imo and Lagos. All they do is dump results sheets on the floor of the court.
Imagine what you are saying. Was the court a dumping site where they have no other places to dump papers and they have to dump them in court? It is difficult to defend Tinubu without looking stupid.

There is nothing tactical about what he just address except you just want to hype him.
From what he wrote here is just shows that the man had nothing upstairs, but we were just hailing him for nothing in the past. His own points are own goals. To even say his clients score 25% in 26 state and FCT shows that the level of alcohol was much, because his client never got 25% in FCT, only LP candidate got above or 25% in FCT and by tactical reasons, it was clear that Obi Results was the one INEC diverted to his client Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
For this piece alone the Judges don't need to reason far because out of oversabi Olanipekun just nailed his Client Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the Cross. This case is just like King Solomon settling the women who were arguing for who owns the child in the Bible.
From this it is clear and clean that Justice is not on their side.

The defense did not tackle the issue of results manipulation in Rivers, Benue, Imo, Lagos etc. and how the court should resolve it. If the petitioners profer their own solution, the hands of the court would be tied. They focused on the use of electronic transmission/transfer Vs manual transmission/transfer. That's not the issue of the petition but rather whether IREV should be used in case of disputes of election results. They did not even mention BVAS report.
What efforts did the petitioner made to tackle the issue if Rivers? You want the defense to open up in areas the petitioner failed?

Wanna read through your arguments again?, because it doesn't make sense, is emotional and devoid of logic.

You argued that the law specified how your state governor is to emerge. Who is the law. The constitution as amended.

The same law you subscribe to, who is still the legal persona, the constitution, also stipulates that for a candidate to be seen to have been elected to the office of the president of the federation, he or she shall secure 1/4 of the votes cast in the FCT.

Since you agree with the dictates of the law (the constitution) with respect to how your state governor is to be elected, why does the dictates of the same law (the constitution) regarding how a president is to emerge unconstitutional?.

And finally, why would a candidate contest an election in which he or she is in disagreement with the ground rules without first seeking to set aside, the offending part of the law?.
