Not all Igbo hate the Yoruba and Yorubaland. I am sure of this fact 101%! My only issue with those minority of Igbo is that they don't speak up because they are scared. It is their silence that gave room to those ignorant of their positive vibes to dominate the narrative. I know many of my Igbo friends, especially the childhood friends, who will rather converse with me in Yoruba language than in English language. In fact, my Igbo friends overseas do it even more so that foreigners around them don't hear our conversations.

These minority of Igbo with excellent relationships and experience with their Yoruba need to speak up more and showcase how they have been blessed by their love for Yorubaland so the hate-filled Igbo can realise how they are hurting themselves and the Igbo tribe's reputation and relationship with the Yoruba.

Those Igbo who love the Yoruba and Yorubaland will always live in peace in Yorubaland, respect the Yoruba culture of respect for elders and leaders, pray for peace and prosperity of their hosts and Yorubaland will in turn bless them. They are the ones who are already Yoruba even by adoption. They will not go into politics of lies, hate and bigotry against the dominant political interests of the Yoruba not because they don't have a right to do so but because they cherish the Yoruba and want to make peace. They are not cowards but exposed, emotionally intelligent and wise people.

Meanwhike, this is the best time to invest in Lagos and the neighbouring SW states. Invest in Lagos today.

Excellent! We need more of this.People can now begin to use the public transport only for work and back. The best of this is also that Nigerians can begin to learn to trek more or use their bicycles.Regular exercise is crucial for the people.Life expectancy in Nigeria is 52,so we must embrace this life changing experience.

If I were you I’d pray that God bless me too so I can also run gen over night.
Not everyone is use to sleeping inside heat and mosquitoes
I am very comfortable to run generator overnight even at 1k per liter. But my previous experience won't allow me to put on generator why I am sleeping.

Sometime it is a show off because even during the rain, they still put it on to disturb people.

Also putting on generator overnight is not a sign that you are doing well if you can't buy it again at this price

It is just as a result of cheap fuel

So, are you saying those who used to hit the road when there used to be traffic and fuel price was moderate and affordable had nothing meaningful to do by leaving their homes especially in a state like Lagos? Wonderful!

Lagos metro will start operation next month. More are still being built. How many people earns minimum wage? Minimum wage is not average wage. Moreover, you can have more than one job or side hustle to increase your income.

I understand your drift. Perhaps far more people earn less than that. Ours is a country where statistics are cooked up. But you and I know that government is the largest employer of labour in Nigeria, and even the so called minimum wage, several states are still owing workers.

When you start advising masses to do more than two jobs....when will you advise our law makers whose salary and emoluments are over-bloated to take part-time jobs and cut down their pay. When will you advise politicians that have over 500 special advisers that are doing nothing yet consuming tax-payers money? When will you advice electorates that junket round the world on medical tourism and our own health system is collapsing? And indeed when will you condemn the 120 convoys been used by some politicians?

When I say, we the youth are fools, we are indeed fools and the elites and polithiefians know how to tame us. We are really not ready for the country we yearn for.

Lest I forget, where are the metro? How many states is building a metro? Even Lagos that's building something that looks like metro is miles behind herself. Nonetheless, that should have been up and running and every other measures to cushion the effect of subsidy removal should have been in place first before finally removing subsidy. Anyway, this is Nigeria.....we always put the cart before the horse!

Traffic has really reduce in Lagos.

Cool, but still not enough for me to consider relocating. Kissed that place bye for good. Can only consider a place better than Nigeria as a whole.

Without getting unnecessarily emotional, we have to be practical and realistic about the solution we proffer.
The same politician were voted for by you and I and sometimes people who did not give us money before election, don't get our votes. And please don't mention, we no dey give shishi, because all na charade. That being said, we can't continue to use those in govt as our scape goat. We have done that for far too many years and it has not brought us any solution. How many businesses have gone moribund because employees including relative and friends connive to steal or even kill the owners? Do you understand that this among other things is at the root of unemployment in Nigeria? The quality and the integrity of the work force is always an issue. The abroad that people runs to, I am sure you have heard of people doing 2 or 3 jobs to make ends meet. So why can't we do it in Nigeria and raise our income above minimum? More to say, but time no dey.
NB. I mentioned that Metro is starting next month in Lagos. Moreover, Lagos is where the population is and other state Govt can follow Lagos example.

Our problem is leadership problem not followership. There's absolutely nothing the followers will do unless the change starts from the top. The buck stops at their desk!

You keep claiming people can't go to their workplace, who are the people you're talking about? Cause I have not seen who can't go to work at their workplace in my area and workplace. It's the people who have no reason to go out who are staying indoor.

You need to back up your statement with fact, cause here in Lagos, I have not witness people not going to work because of fuel.

So before now people just wake up and spend transport money to stay in traffic all day?

saka Maje or what do you call yourself? why don't you stay in your One room in Osogbo and leave the tribal bigotry. You have no stake in Lagos to ask anyone to leave. You are too infinitesimal and low in the food chain to speak for yorubas.

The politicians will end your subscription by the end of this month , they don't need you again , no more 2k for data for you online rats. Its now left for you to go scavenge for crumbs in the next few months. With this hate and bigotry , you may leave Osogbo and relocate to inisha this time around where you can afford a one room. grin

I quite understand you too. My point is, the elites and the political class have tamed the masses and the masses will forever produce this current crop of leaders. One simple way they've caged the masses is through poverty.

An average Nigerian only think about his stomach and his present condition...while the politicians think about how to use his condition for his own perpetuity gain. It's a game of master vs slaves.

That's why you would notice that the political terrain is craftly rigged against the common man on the street. A common man cannot bring 100million naira just to buy a candidate form. And when these current crops are old and gone, they have recruited their children's, allys and friends to take over.

This has been the problem. The political class have weaponized poverty to their own advantage.
