It is more of impatience from his parents i believe, rather than greed. That impatience is what made them rush him to the point that i think they wrecked his development. When he was 14 he was playing UEFA Under-19 Champions League. When he was 16 when boys are getting introduced into Under-18 he played 21 games in the Premier League 2 which at that time was an Under-23 league. The guy was talented but they rushed him too much and played him in too many positions.

I am not really worried about him because i don't see the route to the first team for him if he stays so it might best for everyone involved if he leaves. From all indications ETH does not rate him as highly as some of the other academy players.

I've only seen a handful of his games. His decision making seems to be decent. What other talent does he have that promoted his parents to push him prematurely through the ranks?

Speed for an attacking midfielder. Good first touch and close control which result in very good dribbling on the run. Good ball carrying ability, passing, vision. Good movement in the box. Good finisher. Very good decision making.

These are the skills he HAD not HAS. Not sure anymore what he still has. He was quick so they played him on the LW a lot of the time, though it was apparent that he was a CAM like Bruno and wasn't wing-forward quick. Then it seems all those years of playing with guys 4-6 years older than him removed all the fancy flicks and tricks he used to try when he was younger.

60m pounds is fair considering the market. The club knows how to drag transfers and end up paying same thing or more. The season will start in a couple of weeks
