And the big question is, why was it inaugurated?

I remember telling folks here about a report I read which put the completion date of the refinery at first quarter of 2024 (January-March next year) but I was attacked as being a “bad belle” and enemy of progress. Turns out completion date is actually farther.

So, why was it inaugurated?

I'm starting to believe Nigeria's problem is spiritual.
Now I submit that the day we start refining our oil in Nigeria is the day we'll become economically free.

The effectual, fervent prayer of the righeous availeth much.

Nigeria needs national days of prayer and fasting as practised by America during Abe Lincoln's presidency

Buhari should call Dangote, and ask Dangote what he (Dangote) brought him (Buhari) to Lagos to commission. Or has Dangote imbibed our spirit of Owambeism?

No sir. We missed it when we allowed the politics of bitterness and divisiveness as practiced by the lying APC to take over our national life.

What we need to do is get rid of APC from our nation and we'll be better for it. Compare Nigeria pre-2015 to Nigeria of 2023 when we're deep into APC malfestation

Why are you trying to mystify Nigeria's problems. There is absolutely nothing spiritual about our problem. Truth be told.

EVERYBODY WANTS NIGERIA TO BE LIKE ADVANCED COUNTRIES INCLUDING ;

1. The Civil servant who steals public fund.

2. The security personnel who collects bribe at the detriment of national security.

3. The teacher who organizes special examination centers.

4. The parents who pay for exam malpractice for their children.

5. The students who practice exam malpractice to pass exams.

6. The lecturer who gives out grades for money or sex.

7. The Citizens who shunt queues and disobey traffic rules.

8. The Politicians who Embezzles Public Funds.

9. The Boss who give unmeritted favours to his subordinates on basis of religion, tribe, political and other social affiliations.

10. The good's sellers who hoard goods to create deliberate scarcity.

11. The judges and lawyers who make ways for criminals to escape facing the wrath of the law.

12. The Doctors who refer their patients to private facilities for personal gains.

13. The engineers who construct below agreed standard facilities for personal gains.

14. The youths who believe shady and fraudulent acts are ways of hustling.

15. The common man who is waiting to be in any of the above mentioned situation and do the same if not worse.

16. The Road Safety Official who will collect money inside vehicle particulars and allow motorists to carry overload.

17. Some Governors and even President who will sponsor terrorists and use the country's money corruptly to buy arms in the name of fighting the same terrorists

18 Custom Officers who will clear imported goods and mount road blocks to collect more money from the importer.

19. The national Assembly who will deliberately spend over N1b naira to amend the Constitution that they know they can't amend.

20. Politician that will arm thugs to kill an opponent.

21 leaders (President and Governor's) that will establish sub standard hospitals and schools only to fly abroad for treatment and take their children to foreign schools

21b. Pastor that will gather church money, build mansions, buy private jet, make his children head pastors and charge the poor members of the church to go and work hard.

22. The Universities that has made law and medicine only courses for a particular class of people.

23. Nigerian Youths who has refused to learn trade but are interested in becoming ritual killers for money.

24. Herrdsmen who has discovered that kidnapping and collecting ransom pays more than rearing cows.

25. Head of security who will conspire with terrorists to ambush and kill his men and later collect money.

26. A country where some part will witness 50 million votes during election but cannot generate 100 million naira as tax.

27. A country where you speak the truth govt will term hate speech.

28. A country where stealing of one cup of garri will attract more.jail term than stealing billions of public fund.

29 A country that produces oil and pays more money for buying what they naturally own.

30. A country which some parts ban the sale of alcohol but share from the VAT money collected from the sale of alcohol in other parts of the country.

The list is endless.

The refinery that fraudster told people had started repaying it's loans?
A company that hadn't started production being claimed to have started repaying it's loans! That's classical Nigerian yahoo.
2025 may even be a tentative date.
If things were to be done right,Buhari, Emefiele and Dangote would be under house arrest for the Dangote refinery scam alone.
No one should be surprised if Dangote is one of the people that have been given licences to import fuel in this deregulated market and may still even be getting dollars at a still subsidised government I&E window rate.
The scam that started in 2015 does not seem to be coming to an end anytime soon.Infact,if these 2 months are a barometer then the scam, incompetence and monumental corruption in all sectors may soon leave Genesis to begin traversing other books that Nigerians have never experienced.

Dango Kukuma shift it to 2050! We go all dey all right.

In meantime, SOJA should allow illegal refinery to breath and quick operational guidelines should be fast track and develop to see early Legalization of illegal refinery scattered across the Niger Delta.

Well, I am not surprised.

Dangote cannot complete that refinery without getting dollars from CBN at NGN300 embarassed

If you push him too much, he with relocate out the country till another Fulani government is in place.
